Blu-ray titles you regret buying

That's also part of the reason I feel that "some things are best left alone." This could apply to movies that need a documentary feel. I also think "The Blair Witch Project" or "Bob Roberts" would not look any better on Blu-Ray.

Somehow I thought I'd enjoy the movie more if it was closer to the theater quality. What I forgot from the theater was that this was truely a horrible story, acting, editing and directing. Other than that, it was fabulous.

Movie was ok. I just did not pick it up because it is one of those films that has very little if any re-watch value.

how can this thread continue without any mention on House of Flying Daggers was just an ok transfer? I was hoping for a better transfer because i like the movie but when watching it im like the audio is just average and the play quality leaves much to be desired. come on sony remaster it

The only one I really regretted buying was Sweeney Todd......a nice Blu-ray presentation but I didn't get on with the film at all...in particular the tediously repetitive score. That said, considering I sold it on for nearly £4($8) more than what I paid for it, I guess I can't complain too much....the 2 hours of my life are gone forever, though.

I was privileged to see a screener and I turned it off 20 minutes in. I could not stand the constant song and dance. Made absolutely no sense. I probably will never watch it again, let alone buy it.

I made it to about the 30 minute mark before wanting to turn it off....but the wife was quite enjoying it so I stuck with it. However, you couldn't pay me to sit through it again. Don't get me wrong, I'm not averse to the odd musical and I do like Burton's work....but this just rubbed me up the wrong way.

I am not into the "Blind-buying" thing. I don't buy a movie just because it have been released on BD.

I am in complete sync with Octavio regarding BD purchases. Since going the
Blu route have not regretted any BD titles purchased.

Regarding Cloverfield don't ever buy it you'll regret for the rest of your life.
A worst ever film made when I saw it in our theathers I was almost puking
and want leave halfway.
