Because stupid people outnumber smart people in the world, and apparently the stupid people have $10 to waste in theaters? These writers could learn a thing or two about comedy spoofs from watching a Mel Brooks movie, or two, or three.

It looks like the red guys are trying to get to the yellow guys and the yellow guys are panicking because the red guys are scaring them by using their heads to get through the wall that's between them! I wish that I could tell the red guys, "Hey, just turn around dummies!" And with *text wrap* on, the red guy on the far left could *wrap* to the yellow guy on the far end!

Becauuuuuuuuse: Well, Meet the Spartans would be one reason (ya just HAD to go fanboy-zombie enough to go see anything with 300 in it, didn'tcha?)--

But since Seltzer & Friedberg seem to have now given up satirizing old current movies in favor of satirizing future current movies based on lame gags we've all seen a hundred times in the trailers (whether or not they have any idea of the actual movie's plot or not), they've now decided to play their timeliness for strategic value:
As long as they're going to parody every April-July movie trailer in there already, from Juno to Speed Racer, they can use their low-rent August cleanup spot to be "current" parodies of movies we've already seen....Why not plan ahead?

(Of course, if we've already seen the actual movies, we would obviously know more about the joke sources than the screenwriters did--
But, since we were zombie enough to go to a 300 parody just because we thought it was neat that, like, the parody came out so quickly, such issues of comic deficiency donn't bother them too much.)
