Any know this how? Did sony ever come out and said what the Failure rate of the ps2 was? NOPE! Also, that 33% rate is a made up # so you fail on both of those items. Also, You can call my artificial wii shortage retarted which is just like your "made up" 360 failure rate. Funny you call people who bought a 360 suckers and morons because peopl like you that resort to name calling are just frustrated that the only console you own is not doing better that the competition. It's really sad that the majority of people on here are playstation fanboys because they are missing great games on the other consoles but are too narrow minded to realize it.

I said my reason why I switched from 360 to PS3. I am not a fanboy as I had every system and re-sold them except the PS3. The wii I would have kept if I did not need a new metal halide ballast for my saltwater tank.

Plus threads like these will always bring in fanboys. the GTA IV forums had so many fanboys that I left cause of all the *****ing.

Utterly pointless because when someone presents you with facts, you ignore them, then make claims that are truly idiotic in scope.

The 'made up' 360 failure rate was widely publicized, and since Microsoft never actually sued any of the companies that publicized it, then the fail rate is likely true {or worse} than what I am telling you, which you won't hear anyway with your fingers plugging your ears.

I call people who eat shit pie suckers and morons, and if you willingly buy a game console that breaks down as much to have a 3 year warranty put on just ONE aspect of it breaking down, then you are a sucker, and a moron.

I'm not bitter at all, I'm also not throwing hissy fits and declaring that you're not even going to open this thread, and then come back to argue more. Make up your mind, better yet, go to HDD to the game section, there are tons of 360 fanboys there that will agree with what you're saying. I'm sure you'll fit right in.

I voted 360, because that's what I bought and that's what I enjoy. If I bought a PS3, I would have voted that because that's what I would have bought and I know I would be enjoying.

Really, on a Blu Ray site it's obvious that the PS3 will win if only because it was the cheapest Blu Ray player you could get for the longest time. Hence more people here would have one, if you play by the odds. The same would be said for the 360 on an HD-DVD site.

The only 'vote' that would really be worth anything would be those who own BOTH a PS3 and 360. And then you would have to look at sales figures, a game like GTA IV has a much higher sales percentage on the 360 than it does the PS3. From there you'd have to look at how many of those sales were by owners of both systems, and then which version they bought it on. A person who prefers the PS3 as a gaming system will naturally buy the PS3 version, and the person who buys the 360 will buy that version. I don't think anyone who owns both consoles will get one each of the same game...that would be a stupid waste of money.

Hmm, as far as I can recall no unified infrastructure was introduced on the Playstation side before the Playstation 3. Sure, the PS2 had the possibility of using a network adaptor, but a unified infrastructure happened first with the PS3. So Playstation Network (PSN) applies only to the PS3, and not to any previous console made by Sony.

Although my source is Wikipedia, I have no reason to believe they would be wrong on precisely that aspect. If you have information to suggest otherwise, I would very much like to read it.

Games look great on PS3, but most games I like play a lot better on XBOX Live than PS3 online.
