they should build a website where people can request songs or full albums for future DLC, and once a selection meets a certain requirement of votes, then it gets made? not really sure what kind of specifics, just an idea i had the other day while thinking of songs and bands id like to see on RB

HMX already has that on thier RockBand.com website.....every user can request up to 3 songs each and passed on what is voted for, they try and go get.......For example...The Offspring was heavily requested ( I was one) and they got them.....

WE should get more Blink, I would love to have Dude Ranch album release for the game....jsut because Travis is a boss doesnt mean we cant get them.....plus we already have one song plus an Angels and Airwaves song (Tom)....we got Rage coming....so Blink could be on the 20 free tracks

dude ranch would be a great album DLC, but i dont know if i could pick just one of their albums, because they are all great, and i was really excited when it hurts was released, hopefully some +44 in the future?

Does anyone know the prices for RB2? Or even GH: WT?

As well, I was reading that the instruments with work with each other (RB2 instruments will work with GH:WT and vise versa) is this true?

If that's true, I'd rather go with the cheaper one and then get a copy of the other one!

RB2 is listed now at 189.99 which I believe is the same as GH:WT.....since the instruments for WT are unproven and with the new improved instruments from HMX which also has a very good RMA policy with EA, (Activisions is unknown and knowing how Activision works, could suck).....plus RB2 is out 1 month earlier.....the game disc for both are the standard 59.99....and yes, they are compatible.......if activision builds their new instruments like their fisherprice guitar for GH3, then RB is ur answer as well.........the cymbals on the WT drum set do not look like they are gonna be able to take a beating esp the way they are connected on....(I read in an article that people playing with it thought this).....

Looks like there are a few quirks.

Panic Attack confirmed as the hardest song on RB2 for drums. I can't wait.

And it's the hardest not because there is an insane amount of bass pedal like all the hard songs as of late are. It's just like Constant Motion in that it's insanely technical. I love Portnoy and Dream Theater.

I hope they put more in the game. It's going to be so good.

Dude, same here. And that's my favorite song too. I could not believe when they said they were putting Panic Attack in the game. It took alot for me to believe it was legit Dream Theater and not another "Panic Attack".

Octavarium would be the most incredible thing to happen to Rock Band, ever. But 24 minutes is unheard of by most people. But oh how amazing it would be.

not until close to release, what everyone is thinking anyways....no one knows if they will launch the 20 at release or wait.....but HMX is gonna announce the 6 albums (not including this weeks Rush album) that will come out in the next 6 months....Ive read reports it wont be 6 albums in 6 months but 6 albums over 6 striaght week.....which will be lots of money out of my pocket!
