I have not seen this but I will give it a chance since Edward Norton is in it.

I loved the movie as is but it would have been interesting to the the cut footage. I am looking forward to seeing the new opening and this blu-ray in general. This version of the Hulk kicked the 2003 versions ass. Ang Lees Hulk was like a bad made for Lifetime TV movie with some cool special effect and the occasional Hulk scene. I cant wait for this to be released. Now all we need is for Universal to give us an actual confirmed release date.

but it was still a awesome Comic Book movie another great one for 08

*****SPOILER ALERT*****

BLU FREAK WHAT SEPARATES HULK FROM VILLAINS IS HE
[Show spoiler]DOESN'T KILL ANYONE, EVEN BAD GUYS. THE REASON IS BECAUSE DEEP INSIDE BRUCE BANNER IS ALWAYS THERE CONTROLLING HIM STOPPING HIM FROM BECOMING A VILLAIN HIMSELF. WHEN HE ALMOST KILLED ABOMINATION, THAT WAS BECAUSE THE RAGE THAT IS THE HULK WAS CONSUMING BRUCE, BUT BETTY WAS THERE TO STOP IT. IF HE WAS TO KILL HIM THAN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A BAD HULK MOVIE, AND WOULD HAVE GONE AGAINST EVERYTHING MARVEL WAS TRYING TO DO IN THE FILM. WHICH WAS TRYING TO SHOW HULK AS THE TRUE HERO THAT HE IS, AND NOT A MINDLESS VILLAIN
.

1. Use some fricking spoiler tags or don't talk about the plot. I haven't seen the damn movie yet.

2. Did everyone's caps lock and punctuaction keys suddenly break?

See below. U-Nick is exactly right. He talked about throwing absolutely everything filmed onto the blu-ray (not back into the movie). There was one there was one overzealous interviewer that kept putting words into Leterrier's mouth. English is not his native language and there was confusion there.

The guys said he likes to keep everything. EVERYTHING. Even if it was just a second of garbage here and there. He specifically said he likes to keep it all and put it out there for film students and stuff so they see some of the things he tried, both good and bad. They can see why stuff was cut, and why it was kept.

So I think when peoiple heard about the 70 minutes of extra footage, they were hoping for somewhat of a Director/Norton cut, to make the film different. I really dont think, from day 1, that this was the case at all.

Would I be interested in seeing some of that stuff? Sure, why not. I would take it more of a behind the scenes of making a movie though. I wouldnt expect it to change the film in one way or another.

Will it be a dealbreaker for me to NOT get this release ebcause I think there's a 'double-dip' on the way? No way.
Well said.

Sorry Bout That Aram (the Lack Of A Spoiler Alert Which I Have Now Put There), I Was Just Caught Up In The Moment When Someone Says Something Bout My Favorite Character And Doesn't Know Anything About Him, I Feel The Need To Educate Them. Hey U Never Know I Might Even Been Talking About The Comic Book Cause That Same Scenario Happens In The Comic Book Too. As For The Caplocks I Am Dyslexic And Easier For Me To Keep Track Of Everything With Them Sorry.

An advertisement in the latest issue of Home Media Retailing magazine reveals the cover art and confirms interactive features for Universal Studios Home Entertainment's The Incredible Hulk on Blu-ray Disc.

The ad promotes BD-Live connectivity with My Chat that allows a viewer to watch and chat with another person via BD-Live in real-time while simultaneously watching The Incredible Hulk. Exclusive downloadable content may also become available but is unknown at this time.

The packaging is described as "collectible 3-D" and can be seen below in all its "green" glory. This will be the first instance of a publisher not using the "blue" Blu-ray logo across the top.

We also noticed the ad promotes a never-before-seen alternate opening and a 153 minute run time. The theatrical version ran 114 minutes so the rumors> regarding an extensive director's cut are somewhat accurate. Instead of 70 additional minutes we'll have to settle for nearly half at 39.

Though not confirmed by Universal at this time, the expected release date for The Incredible Hulk on Blu-ray per retailers is October 21 with an SRP of $39.99. We'll be back with more Hulk info in the near future.

Hey if that's what works for you, then go for it.

As for the spoilers, you weren't the only one. Now you know for the future.

39 minutes inserted back into the movie is probably the full amount. The director mentioned 70 minutes, but I highly doubt that all 70 of that was meant to be added into the movie at once - there's probably plenty of stuff that was legitimately on the chopping block, or alternate takes at existing scenes. I don't think they ever intended to release a 114 + 70 = 184 minute (over 3 hours) Hulk movie.

So if that extra 39 minutes (or something similar) is indeed included, I'd say we're all set and getting exactly what the director had previously talked about.

edit: Apparently the 39 minutes info was false. But the point remains that the director never said there'd be a director's cut that was 70 minutes longer - he simply said there was 70 minutes of footage (including some good and some bad) that was supposed to be on the Blu-ray. He never even said there was going to be a new cut - this could all be supplemental material, and the Blu-ray would still be true to his word.

That 39 minutes was a mistake and quickly corrected... read run time at 153 minutes incorrectly instead of 1:53. The verdict is still out on whether the director's cut will be included.

I DON'T KNOW THE INTERVIEW ON G4 SAID HE WAS NOT GOING TO RE-CUT THE MOVIE, BECAUSE TO HIM THE THEATRICAL CUT IS THE DIRECTORS CUT. HE ALSO SAID THAT THE BLU-RAY WILL HAVE ALL THE EXTRA STUFF THAT WAS CUT OUT (SOME 70 MINUTES WORTH), BUT AS DELETED SCENES, AND IN SUPPLEMENTS AND STUFF. IF YOU GUYS WANT YOU CAN CHECK OUT THE INTERVIEW IN VIDEO FORM HERE!!

Default Green Blu-ray case!

According to the Digital bits, Incredible Hulk will come in a GREEN blu-ray case! I am not too sure about this, it looks good, but I think I want them to keep the blue cases.

It says the Cover art will have a green tone, but it doesn't say anything about the case. If the case turns out green it doesn't really matter since I have an extra case thanks to Hancock sneak peak.
