I was interested in this too, but it sounds like a crapshoot. Does amazon.de usually ship in cardboard boxes or envelopes?

what to do, what to do heh

Envelope.

So it depends on your luck. My first T3 was very badly dented, they sent me a free replacement after I emailed them in English.

Leon came through nice and good though.

Now awaiting Fantastic 4 ...

Cheers,

Koh

I have been receiving mine in cardboard boxes but be warned though. Their cardboard packaging is very crappy and flimsy, and worse of all not properly sealed. Nearly most times the packaging arrived with gap big enough for the blu-rays within it to fall out. Surprisingly enough, I have never lost a single blu-ray.

Steelbook is hit and miss. I had better luck when I only have one or two in an order and when they are shipped in a compact cardboard. I had 5 steelbooks in an order once and every single one of them had either dents or paint chips etc as they are not secured enough within the box so the damage were due to the steelbooks being loose and banging about within the box whilst in transit. Needless to say I had to return all five, and yes they did refund me return shipping that time but only after nearly a month after I returned it. They did not automatically credit me the return shipping, they only do after they have received the damaged items. I actually have to email them after about 3 weeks to ask them if they have received the damaged items, only then did they confirm that they have received it and I got reimbursed a few days later. This is nearly six months ago though, I am not sure if any of their policies have changed or not since then. Perhaps someone who has ordered more recently can shed some light?

Can anyone confirm if this is the extended edition and not the shortended directors/theatrical cut?

ANd how does the PQ stack up to the US version, which has the best transfer?

thanks
