Four hour cut of Revenge Of The Sith would probably be considered a crime against humanity by the United Nations.

There never has been and never will be a four hour cut of Revenge Of The Sith. Fact. Mods please close the thread.

I doubt Disney would ever do anything with the material they have other than let it sit and rot in the vaults . . . Shame. I really would love to see the Rebel Subplot and the Qui-Gon ghost scene in full back in Sith definitely, just too name a few.

Revenge of the Sith is hitting theaters again for April 2025 this weekend.

What changes would you like to see made to Revenge of the Sith, keeping in the spirit of constantly updating the film each time it's re-released, as George Lucas would do?

SPOILERS:
I'd like to see Hayden go back in as his older self's voice over, now in his 40s, and revoice his entire role except for the light saber duel. Using his new talent as an actor to voice over his prior lines.

Then I would like to see all of the CGI get a modern make-over remake. Use the original CGI frames, but all new textures and details with modern CGI.

Then redo the scene where Anakin turns to the darkside and bows to Sidious. Make that scene way more convincing and have a serious stake shown, like have the Emperor flash Padme' dying right in the mind of Anakin, so he has no choice but to join the Darkside to save her.

And please release the film in 3D already, and on blu ray 3D as with Ep. I and II for blu ray 3D already. It's in the vault...

And also, show what happens to Mace Windu after he goes out the Window. Does he survive?

I'm half joking about most of that, but with how often these films were changed by Lucas, why not?

What I would like to see is the CGI redone for the fight between Anakin and the Temple guard. It was filmed and removed due to the thought it was to violent.

Anakin v Cin Dralling was the battlemaster of the Jedi Order

I would also want all of the released Order 66 and new Order 66 footage entered back into the film. The stuff from Kenobi, Mandalorian etc.

After re-adding the torrid relationship between Padme and the Emperor, I would reveal that the extremely lame way of killing off Darth Maul was all a dream

I didn't know that scene existed at some point. That would've been cool, yes. A major duel of evil Anakin fighting the top Jedi. Lucas maybe felt it was too much sword fighting since the Obi Wan duel was such a major battle.

Maul had plenty of time to react to that move, but I guess was caught completely off guard, in turn, letting his saber guard down as he was sliced in two. Still waiting for a live-action continuation from Solo where he's an older Maul with metal legs.

A new Maul animated series is being worked on, revealed recently, but still set in the Clone War era.

It was filmed and removed due to it being to violent. Its actually what we see on the hologram shrunken down in Episode 3 when Obi Wan and Yoda are looking at the footage.

Thanks. Too violent, maybe for: That part about when he stabs the Jedi through the neck I guess. Even though we saw him slice off Count Dooku's head offscreen, the head rolling over to save Sidious Palpatine.

That is interesting they at least showed a brief clip of it.

Count Dooku, still the most impressive fighter in the films, defeats two Jedi plus Yoda at the same time

Yeah and the amazing thing is if its found or ever released the guy playing Cid was the actual lightsaber fight coordinator. It would truly be amazing to see even just the behind the scenes footage fully of this fight. They literally choreographed and recorded it in this guys garage.

And even slices off Anakin's arm. Then slices into Kenobi's leg and arm, cutting through the muscles, severing their function. That was pretty violent yet remains in the film.

I'll guess it was mostly due to pacing that the Anakin vs Jedi Temple duel in Revenge was cut. Too many light saber battles Lucas may have felt.

That would be cool. I'm sure someone has it somewhere for the full fight. Unless it was never pieced together and then the data scrapped.
