Some new retrospectives would be nice, although I'm pretty well-versed in all the behind-the-scenes info that's out there and I don't think it's possible for them to completely explain the entire mythology, even to a hardcore X-Phile such as myself.

Considering I grew up watching the X-Files episodes via poor recordings from the TV broadcasts with really bad reception... 1080P X-Files would be a dream come true!

I'd also prefer the 4:3 episodes to stay that way, it's what they were so why change that?

That's why I said "keep hoping", because I knew this thing would never materialize. It was all hearsay and speculation and a lot of blind hope from fans. But as a realist, I knew it was far more likely that nothing would ever come of it. Here we are, more than a year after I said "keep hoping", and there's still not even the most basic of information as to when a release will happen - if ever.

And given the fact that there are other TV shows - which had far greater ratings than The X-Files - that still haven't been released on Blu-ray, I'm not going to be holding my breath for this one.
