It's coming UPS Ground, so by the end of the week hopefully.

If you do like the 720, I think J&R's sale ends on 1/8/09.

I couldn't believe I paid over $100 for a remote almost a year ago, but I've never regretted the purchase. Only having to press one button to do things made it much easier for my wife and six-year old. The only issue I've encountered is that the latest software version broke some functionality of the 670 ("Listen to Music" button no longer worked). A Logitech tech set up a temporary fix for me until they solve the issue in the next software release.

I own the one and also have programmed the 880pro,890pro, and 1000 models with and without extenders. The reason I chose the one is because I don't need the RF features (no z-wave) also it has the most comfortable feel of any remote I've ever held. But I must say the 1000 is one cool remote. It's all a matter of preference and what you want to do with it. I'm currently working on a modle home where the 1000 controls the shades, lights, projector lift, and a drop down screen very, very cool. I'll post pics when i'ts finished next month.

Interestingly, my 670 quit working last night. After going through the usual troubleshooting (change batteries, put into safe mode and update firmware, etc.), I decided it was broken. Luckily, I had Circuit City's replacement plan, so I just took it in today and got another one. Just to be safe, I purchased the same plan for the new one as well, so I'm covered for another two years.

Harmony remotes are very easy to replace: just plug the new one into a computer and click "Replace Remote."

That's how Best Buy's works too. Basically any time it breaks, ten dollars gets me another one for two years.

Just an FYI, Logitech already has a 3 year warranty on all of their products. Just call, tell them it's broken(RMA) and then they send you out a brand new one. You don't even have to send them the old one, they just take your word for it. I've been doing that with my mouse for years.

I've got the Harmony 880 too and I love it. Very easy to use for me and the wife. Battery last pretty long too and recharge does't take too long either.. Not so many remotes now, just that and the ps3 remote!

Same here. I have the 880. It replaced 11-12 remotes. The only remotes I use now are the Harmony, the PS3, and the Vudu.

You know, if you have the Sony Bluetooth PS3 remote, you can get the chip out of it and buy the IR4PS3 box for 40 dollars which will make the 880 control the PS3 perfectly. For me it took me from two remotes to one remote.

This remote also works great with the Harmony. I got this for my parents to go with the Harmony 880 I got them for Christmas. Got both together for $88 shipped on Black Friday.

I have the 676. Its button layout is well-suited for DVRs.

I have a 550, it's a more modest remote but i'am impressed by the Battery Life. Got it 3 months ago and the batteries that where in it already still works. My older 678 (not sure about the model) would last like 2 months top.
