For the love of christ, will you stop teasing me ..... lol just kidding!
You have made me wonder about getting the UPA-7 which I can get, but I want to save for the MPS-2
Since I have the Onkyo 805 claiming 130 and the UPA-7 having 125 Watts per channel, it dosen't seem like a big enough upgrade. The MPS-2 is talking about 200 watts per channel and that seems like a nice improvement.
Its just that $1699 drop isn't that easy right now.

I was wondering which one that was, I know the Onkyo 805 has a few of the 5.1 to 7.1 matrix and I have my favorite, the THX Ultra2 Cinema.

I just don't think a whole lot of people on the forum have the speakers. Most people seem to have gone the Polk or Klipsch route. If I were looking for new speakers I would be looking at Quad, Aperion, Axiom, Paradigm, Monitor, PSB, or Totem. Are they mentioned here, not often enough. Does that mean they aren't good, definitely not.

Boston makes great speakers, and are definitely worth a listen for anyone auditioning.

Love the new setup BTW!!!!

Or are you talking actual reviews? If you are, a lot of outlets don't offer reviews for entry level speakers. Not sure why, as I am sure entry level owners are a large portion of their readers....

Big Daddy could probably help you out there. He has more speakers than I would know what to do with.

Myself, I have always felt adding quality is better than adding quantity. I know the Bostons are great, but I would look into investing as much money as possible in your front soundstage.

I am not saying you need to, because they are great speakers. I just feel you would get more bang for your buck...

EMOTIVA UPA-7 ~ REVIEW !!

These are MY opinion's of one of my new toys !
First thing is A power conditioner cleans the power ; An amplifier cleans the sound (just an observation) ! This is my 1st. amp & I've had it 1 month now !!
The sound quality is definatly better & clearer than before ! My speakers I've had A year now do seem to sound alittle different (better) Than before , I think this is because they are getting more power ! Before IF I were to turn it way up , allthough my bostons sound great it seemed to sound dirty being vary loud ! Now with the amp when I turn it way up the sound stay's clear , cleaner & it doe's not get that dirty sound to it !
I wish I would have bought an amp 20 years ago , I would have not been without one sense ! My TV was my biggest & best investment in my theater !!
The next best investment would have to be my EMOTIVA AMP !!

Okay. It may not be the most well written review, but now I want one. My issue is that I don't have the ROOM in my TV stand and since I just dropped $1400 on it, I doubt te wife would let me get rid of it.

Besides, I already have ideas for when I upgrade my speakers where everything will go.

You still instigated my upgraditis.
