I am hoping, I keep trying to get her to buy her own blu-rays because she has limited me to 1 per month, which sucks.
I make sure to mention it anytime there is news of a movie that she likes coming out on blu-ray, and hinting that I have something better to buy, but if she really wants it...
but so far she has called my bluff every time

LOL! Well, surprise her once with a gift of a blu movie she really likes! Tell her how thrilled you were that she wanted to watch BofB with you and that this is something you want to do together with her. Sacrificing the one might be worth it!

hmm, her birthday is coming up... I will have to be careful what movie I choose though, because I don't want her to think I am just buying myself a present.

I especially like the fact that this thread was started by one of our ladies (Kudos, benzgrl!) A thread like this started by a "Dude" might lend itself to the same lack of longevity mentioned earlier ("Hey, who are the chicks on this site? Please reply and let us know! Don't forget to post your 8x10 glossies!).

Anyway, I think this is a nice way to get to know you all.
