The Japanese side of my copy of the 2006 Uncut, Uncensored DVD suffers from disc rot and is no longer playable

I know it lists street fighter 2 to be featured on one of the Bd discs, anyone know if it'll get its own release like the other movie, I don't really want the entire set but I would like to see the upgraded quality of the movie.

I would be inclined to say yes. Obviously, they want the release to debut in a nice set for increased sales...which might help fund a standalone release.
Again, with anime it's always a roll of the dice!

i am very dissapointed with the copy of street fighter II the animated movie included in this set. i shouldnt have sold my uncut DVD version. no japanese track no HD and its in a damn box! thick black bars on all sides

Is this the same presentation as the one on the Anniversary Collection (15th) for PS2 and XBOX?

The Street Fighter II Anime movie had a shower scene with Chun-Li and some blood. But this is a censored version and looks like it's not 16:9 either.

Thank you for the info. I was really tempted by this release but missing Japanese track, not remastered to HD, non-anamorphic widescreen, and censored made it really easy to avoid this release.

Wish I had held off! Not only what you mention, but all the CDs are in plastic jackets and wedged, spaced out, in the interior foam! For $150 they could'nt house them in two 5-disc cases, or one 10-disc case?
As an avid Sideshow statue collector, I do like the light up statue that was included, and the packaging is pretty nice.
Final result: A massive let down! ( at myself)

well originally format is in widescreen... but the censored version is pi****ng me off...
