My favorite movie that fits the OP's thread title would be Bound, directed by Andy Wachowski, Larry Wachowski and starring Jennifer Tilly, Gina Gershon, & Joe Pantoliano.

First off, I cannot believe there are so many "mo's" on this web site!

I believe Shawshank Redemption has a gay undertone that was somewhat in your face!

from my previous post on this subject:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...&postcount=202

Quote:
The only question I have is with the end. This is NOT a spoiler; I am simply questioning what happened between Andy and Red. Do they go off and have a gay relationship? That is what I got out of the ending. I know it might sound off-the-hook, but think about it. Two guys who are befriended in prison and spend decades together behind bars end up joining up after they are out of jail. Hmmmm, seems suspicious to me.

I suppose it could be said that after all of those years in the penitentiary, they had no family or friends to turn to when they got out. They were alone. Having only each other, the two former inmates turn to one another for companionship and moral support in a world with which they have no connection. Their bond is all they have, and they determine to make a new place in the world---together. (It still seems like there might be a gay undercurrent here).

What do you think?

Then there is this rare image of Mel Gibson on the Braveheat set:

Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert.

Nearly every time I get a straight friend to watch this he goes out and buys the DVD.

Funny and all-around good-natured movie.

Another great film To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar.

Also two really good Chinese gay films are Happy Together (Wong Kar-Wai) and A Queer Story.

Only one I've seen out of Japan is Boys Love. Also pretty good.

I'm not gay, I just enjoy films

Splendor was really good. It seemed like Gregg Araki's Chasing Amy....
