Well, I've been on the Klipsch forum for about 5 years now. I figured I'd sign up here as well. My system consists of the following: Hitachi 52" HDTV (non HDMI) Sony BDP S350 BD player, Pioneer VSX 2016 AV THX receiver, (European model) ROTEL RB-956 amp, Monster HTS 1600. Klipsch F2, C2, S1, Sub 12, RW 10.

I use the ROTEL for the front soundstage, and let the receiver push the surrounds.

So far, this forum seems to be pretty cool!

Hi all,

I'm new to the blu-ray world as of this year (first bought a blu-ray player last black friday) and I've found I can't go back! haha.

Anyway, I'm 21 years old, in my last year of college (woo!), so money's a bit tight but I still spend too much money on entertainment, ha.

My setup is pretty modest - I've just got a 26" LCD HDTV (720p) in my bedroom, along with a Magnavox blu-ray player (the one that was $128 on Black Friday) - it's not the fanciest or most high-tech player but for now it does the job quite well -- in my eyes anyway!

I've got pretty much nil in the audio department, since I'm deaf and not really concerned with that stuff, but I'd love to get a few buttshakers once I get my own place after graduation

I've also got a pretty sweet computer - quadcore, 8 GB RAM, and of course, a blu-ray drive!

My roommates and friends are pretty sick of me gushing over blu-rays so I thought I'd get that out of my system here. You guys would probably appreciate it more! ha.

Looking forward to participating here at these forums. I've been coming here to read the reviews on movies for a while now, but never got around to posting til now.
