Groo, please do me a favor and see this incredible show! We seem to have similar taste and I must recommend this. I have gotten so many people hooked on this who thought they would hate it, and they all loved it. The writing, characters, storylines, drama, violence, is brilliant. IMO, this is the greatest show on television today, and for me I can easily say I consider this to be my favorite television show of all-time, I couldn't possibly recommend this anymore highly to everyone.

Yeah I've been meaning to, I just haven't.

My Current top five tv-shows ever, consist of:

#1: The Wire
#2: Lost
#2b: Carnivale
#4: Dexter
#5: Spooks

And I don't know if it'd crack that, but I've heard nothing but good things.

The Wire would definitely be in my top 5 as well. I have never heard anybody say they didn't like Sons so you gotta check it out. Nice thing for you is once you get hooked on the first 2 seasons, you won't have much time till season 3 starts, where the rest of us SAMCRO junkies have 9 month waits......

Almost at the end of the third episode and I have to say that while I don't know who won the Emmy for Best Actress the year the first season of this show aired, if it wasn't Katey Sagal, and if she wasn't at least nominated, then there's something SERIOUSLY wrong with the Emmys.

Wow I just looked up some info on Katey Sagal, and found out that she has a son named Jackson.

How coincidental now that she's on a show in which her son is named Jackson?

I'm watching Season 2 Episode 4 right now. This show is great!

Just finished Season 2. WOW. Just WOW.

[Show spoiler]I was LITERALLY cringing when Cameron was grabbing that knife and was messing with Abel. I just kept saying "no no no no no no" lol

Can't believe I gotta wait til September now.

I knew you'd love it, but didn't expect you to get through it that fast, lol. Awesome! Alright in response to some of your comments.......

Katey is phenomenal on the show, but as Kurt Sutter has always said his show will never get nominated and that is a crying shame because of the incredible love and work that goes into it. It's the same thing he dealt with on the Shield.

BTW, Katey is married to Kurt Sutter, the show's creator who incase you weren't aware, is also big Otto Delaney



it's a shame that Johnny (sack) didn't like his character creatively and asked to leave, Sutter didn't want to let him go, but he won't keep unhappy actors.

Now that you are officially a fan (i knew you would be) get used to the 10 month waits between every season. They seem to last forever and the seasons 13 episodes fly by the blink of an eye. But rewatch the episodes several times, and you will find that you're constantly hearing or seeing things you missed the first time around. It's a very common thing among fans of the show.

I think Katey should definitely get a nomination and I wouldn't be upset if Ryan Hurst got one, because he was pretty damn good this year. always been a fan of his since Remember the Titans and that series "Wanted".

Good to see so many of my favorite character actors in this show.

Especially Adam Arkin (Life), and Henry Rollins, although it threw me with him being a racist, cause if you have ever heard him speak, you know that's a complete 180 from who he is in real life.

BTW: is it just me or did Jacks old lady just disappear halfway through the season and they just focused on the doctor? lol

I am a huge Ryan Hurst as Opie fan as you could tell, lol.

I am very familiar with Rollins so when I heard he was cast as an Aryan I had a good laugh for awhile. But he was awesome.

Drea De Matteo wasn't in season 2 because as Sutter said "her lawyer was asking for more money than we could afford, so good riddance" I did fight it rather annoying though that he never addressed her absence on the show. She just left after the funeral and we where supposed to assume she wanted nothing to do with Abel anymore. I definitely learned to love Doc in season 2, where in Season 1 I couldn't stand how lame and annoying she was, so it was nice to see her step up. Can't wait to see all the footage that got cut including Darby's fate on the Season 2 discs. BTW, just checked Sutter's twitter and he posted a link to all the brand new SOA merchandise that hit the web the other day, it is sick!!!!

Well it definitely took along time for the Doc's looks to interest me, whereas "13" is so sexy I'd strangle a mount ox for some of that............I just want to watch if this ever happens!

I agre with you Wyledeman, could stand Doc in season 1 neither,but she sure came around in season 2..its hard to not have her there now

Yup, Big Otto is infact the genius Sutter himself I remember reading that right after big Otto showed up for the very first time, and I said "what a minute that guy was the crazy Armenian on the Shield!" so I looked it up and yes he was also that same Armenian on his other show, but is now Big Otto than I found his Blog and checked it daily for show updates, now that he also has a twitter he gives updates on the show more often. As soon as any casting news is posted I'll be sure to let you guys know.
