Ill stick to streaming where the content provider can adjust format and quality to the latest standards. iTunes free 4K upgrades have been great

Good write up, but I'm happy with DVD quality. I grew up with VHS, the difference between Blu and DVD is barely noticable after the leap from VHS to DVD.

Nah, I'm satified with the fidelity provided by DVD. I'll still watch VHS if there's no other option. Fortunately there usually is

There's a difference, but not enough to justify upgrading a collection of 2000+ DVDs. I'm happy with DVD. Honestly, anyone that isn't is a bit greedy, or has a huge telly.

I see where you are coming from. I don't mean you have to replace and upgrade all of your DVDs. I still have my share, and some are so old that I may only watch once every blue moon. They are just not worth replacing. Rather, you said "the difference between Blu and DVD is barely noticeable", I guess you were referring to the video quality. For that, I just have to disagree.

I don’t have one DVD that is better quality over Blu-ray in video or sound quality.

I still regularly watch the DVDs that I own that I have not yet upgraded, some favourites I will but not all. I’’m just chuffed to have the films and TV on physical media whatever the format.
