It's on the eshop. Downloading now. It takes forever 22gb. You need an external hard drive which kind of sucks. But thankfully I had an extra one.

I would hold off for a little bit. The Wii U isn't selling good at all right now and if the trend continues a price cut might be coming.

After months the Wii U finally has an interesting release and then they muck it up with a bizarre "who knows when it will hit the streets" release date.

Are they trying to get people to buy from the eShop? If so you'd think they'd have been more in tune with the hard drive situation.

I don't know what the thinking was here, but I'm not impressed.

Same thing happened with Fire Emblem Awakening... early preorder got their copies, but everyone else had to wait till the 2nd shipment was sent out from the factory. That process took a few weeks.

And Target has Lego City in stock for those who are interested. I just checked my zip and 9 of 12 stores showed it as in stock, 1 with limited, and 2 were out of stock.

EB were sold out across the city because they got very few copies and Future Shop were sticking with the 20th date. But The Source got a whole two copies of it in and nobody had bought it from them since I don't think anybody thinks to go there. Have not had a lot of time to play it but has had some decent humor so far. Loading is brutal though.

I found a copy of Lego City at a Walmart, but yesterday when I was calling around no one had it and no one knew when it would arrive, including the Walmart I actually found it at.

I had it pre-ordered with Amazon and got one of those "We have no idea when it'll ship" messages.

Best Buy online said 2-3 weeks to arrive.

Something tells me that the WiiU's estimates have been downgraded so hard they aren't even meeting demand on games that arrive.

I've pre-ordered through gamestop in order to get the free lego figure. My son has been waiting all month for the two of them. So going somewhere else isn't an option.
