Hmmm I just tried preordering the limited edition and it says no longer available. Nooooooo!

Wow, so they already sold out the 2500 copies. Perhaps they didn't put up all 2500 copies on the website because of the July 4th weekend.

I'm just hoping it shows up on Amazon sooner rather than later.

Product page is still there but you can't add it to your cart. If you try to add it to your cart, it says the item is not available.

No if you go to the product page on Shout and try to add it to your cart it won't add the title (presumably because its sold out).

So, like it or not, this set is selling. Not counting the Diabolik sales, and assuming Shout has sold out of their 2,500 copies, they've made about $200,000 on this. No one knows just how much it cost to produce this set, but I can about guarantee Shout is extremely happy with the sales of it.

It wouldn't surprise me at all to see them do more sets like this (maybe one per year and it would have to be a fairly large title).

I'm honestly blown away that this set is selling the way it is. I thought for sure that since there was a standard edition available for less that the LE sets would last for some time. Blah.... looks like I might have to bite the bullet and just order this one.

It's supposed to be coming up over the next week or two. The exception would be if it sells out at SF before then. I doubt that will happen though. If/when it is finally up on Amazon I'd order ASAP though since it likely wont be there long.

Perhaps he mentioned it on purpose to gauge fan response. Or perhaps he threw it out there to divert attention and soften the blow for not using the original audio. Imagine if he hadn't said anything and just put the product out with the Cabal Cut audio. Everyone would have been complaining about the low quality. But now they'll be ecstatic just for having audio at all.
