I was able to connect just fine but after restarting it, it did give me a warning about being a "strict NAT" and that it would degrade my experience but so far everything seems fine.

Weirdest thing happened. I decided to play other disc ps4 games for about 90 minutes. I reloaded the Destiny beta so it would finish downloading while I sleep...but it was done! I don't even know how that's possible when I still had 7 gigs left and wasn't on the install screen.

Anyways got the first mission done...oh man I love this game.

Just spent the last 90 minutes on a strike with 2 friends and we both got kicked out right as we we're about to finish the misssion.

So disappointing. So far haven't really done anything new compared to alpha but at least I saw there are some modes with up to 6 in a fire team which is nice to see.

Game already feels harder and more of a grind.

Does this game have vs multiplayer? Couldnt find it yesterday althomimdidnt really look. I knowmsome peeps,were randomly joining me during the story missions but other than that didnt see ny multiplyer

Yes it does. IIRC at the planet hub you can queue up for a match at the 'crucible' planet. There's only one mode for the beta, and its a capture the base type.

Edit: I have to add: That you do have to complete a few PVE missions before the option of PVP to become available. I seem to recall bungie mentioning something like that.

I'm surprised it took some folks such a long time to download. Mine also finished in less than a hour, and I started downloading around 5pm central time.

Only had time to play for about 15 minutes last night, but I liked what I saw so far. I plan on a lengthy game session this weekend.

Only issue i had was getting the codes... Never got an email, so logged into bungie, found the codes, and it took about an hour after i got home last nite to download/install...

I'm loving this beta

graphics are mind blowing! haven't messed with the single player mission, besides the intro, otherwise its been co-op...

Bout the only negative i have on this game is, that its so enjoyable, before i knew it, it was 1 am...

Just saw the email this morning, that they sent me at 9pm, but i had 2 hrs into the beta already

You have to reach Level 5, to unlock the crucible...

Haha Tell me about it I carried rat and goldwood until 2am. I hope that you can larger fireteams in the actual game.

Looks as the Co-op is locked down at 3 players, but the missions on Crucible are 1 -6 players, but all teammates need to be Level 5 or greater...

Have you gotten any more gun unlocks? I'm starting to get ones that are levels way ahead of what i'm at already, too bad their locked...

I've heard rumors that Bungie may increase the level cap during beta. If they are going to do it it will probably happen after the maintenence period.

Multiplayer opens up when you reach level 5 I think.

So what's everybody's opinion on the open level/world, where you can roam and do endless missions?

Took a while for me to figure what you need to do but as soon i figured you had to locate those green flashing communication sticks (whatever their called), i was liking the endless fighting action
