He did a good job with a problematic master for Kill or Be Killed. As long as releases look like film, I continue to buy from him.

On a separate note:

Some people complain about Ruined but he seems to be a movie fan like the rest of us and he does not go around offending anyone. There’s no problem with him posting deals from the DF site. However, his “enthusiasm” should to be toned down a bit .

Dark Force marketing appears effective.
People buy Code Red titles on eBay like that too cause most people don't know where to find these titles since they're not on Amazon. Not everyone that buys blu rays keeps tab on this website to know where to find these titles. I see people on horror movie groups trying to sell random code red blus saying they're oop all the time just cause they're not on Amazon.

"BEHIND THE SCENES: GOD'S BLOODY ACRE-Dark Force has had to put major work into the 4th Retro Drive-In release in an effort to make this our best yet. Here's the latest update: SO SAD ABOUT GLORIA is heading to the blu-ray author after getting 15 hours of extensive scene by scene color correction by the best colorist in LA. GOD'S BLOODY ACRE is still at FOTOKEM awaiting to go under DSR procedure for removal of a malignant large green line. The projected finish and release date is looking like sometime in MAY. The RETRO DRIVE-IN SERIES grows to 4. COLLECT THEM ALL at THE DARK FORCE ONLINE STORE while they are still available:

Cool...just hope they don't administer the same QC process used on THE CARRIER.

Is Dark Force planning on acquiring new titles more often or are they sticking mostly to upgrading previous Code Red DVDs?

I could see much of code red upgrades being good for drive in series while new acquisitions can be used for standalone titles.

Nightfall $12.99

Apparently DF has sold through over half their stock of THE CARRIER despite its issues, less than 100 remain.

They would have to pay me to get me to watch that one again.

Guys, I took a few posts offline to get back on track. I also communicated with Ruined privately and explained the forum rules.

So stoked to have Kill or be Killed in the collection! Got it in last week and watched it like 3 times already. Been a fan for a long time and never thought it would get a blu-ray release. Disgraced nazi general, Japenese diamond fiend, a midget........named Chico! Also a desert castle, no way to escape, a martial arts competition, dismantling of a car by hand adding a sail and gliding across the desert! This movie is the ultimate martial arts cheese fest that really doesn't have much of a point or bother to explain a lot, but is a blast! Far from the best looking PQ, starts out looking very rough or damaged but improves. Easily watchable, no signs of any digital tinkering. Anyone who likes old(er) martial arts flicks and isn't familiar with this should jump on it........I would highly recommend it!

On a side note, for those who don't know, Scorpion Releasing put out the sequel Kill and Kill Again at the end of last year. Highly recommend that one too.

I love KILL OR BE KILLED. Saw it about two years ago on VHS and absolutely adored it. It's truly a bonkers movie from the very start. Now that I know it's a decent release, I'm looking forward to grabbing it as soon as PRIMAL SCREAM drops (giving Dark Force the benefit of the doubt, quality-wise, on that one).

I have yet to see the sequel, but the Blu-ray arrived last weekend and I'm gearing up to watch it this Friday.

According to Lil Bill, all you have to do is email him and ask for free shipping.

Best of luck with that...

Into it. First movie is excellent. Second is fun.

That's all they need to put on Blu.
