Mine came today from Amazon. Shipping box was banged up and filthy, but the set inside was pristine. Whew!

I contacted amazon about my preorder and they said they didn’t ship it because I had it sent to a locker. Apparently preorders can’t be shipped to lockers because they can’t guarantee space. I don’t know why they’d allow me to set it up that way if that’s the case. Hope I can actually fulfill my order.

I had a decent experience in this regard during the last Criterion sale. Took a little longer than usual (I think it took a little over a week where it's usually a few days) so I'll hope for the same this time out. They did charge my card, so I'm assuming I should be good.

Yeah, never trust Oldies.com, they rarely have limited (or OOP) items on hand even if they're on their website. They keep their listings because they continue thinking they can just put in an order with the distributor. Learned that long ago.

I passed on this set since I wasn't a fan of the oversized packaging and I have the previous MC releases (I sucked it up for the Godzilla set since it included so many unreleased films). Here's hoping they'll follow up the limited set with a more shelf friendly standard edition. Considering how quickly it sold out, they'd be fools not to do something.

My set arrived from Target today! As others have reported, mine was sent in a box, packaged with lots of air pillows, so it seems to be in perfect shape.

Definitely a hefty set though!

I just saw that Ronin Flix has the Gamera set in their "Coming Soon" section, so it might be worth keeping an eye out there for anyone who missed out.

So, is this one of those "limited editions" that are totally OOP forever after the first day or is there a reasonable chance it'll pop up again in the next week or 2 (or 3 or 4)?

Arrow always says they have no plans at this time blah blah blah

The set is sold out on release day, not to do a shelf friendly non-limited box set would be insane.

Right, but if I missed out on the limited edition because I didn't anticipate it would sell out within less than 12 hours, am I shit outta luck? I've bought limited editions before, even from Arrow, but damn I've never seen one sell out everywhere so fast. Kicking myself right now.
