dude... arrow has how many hundreds of releases? And a handful of "unfixed glitches" Whereas it seems every other DF release has something wrong (looks terrible - Breeders, shoddy research into the proper cuts - The Last Victim... that's just off the top of my head)

A friendly recommendation to Dark Force - if the available film elements are not great for a particular movie, then they should move that title to the Drive-In series - fans of the label would then know that whilst the PQ may not be the greatest it is still the best available version of the movie on the market, plus the addition of the second movie on the disc will also give customers better value for money. The single releases should be reserved for the titles that look fantastic, and as such will best represent Dark Force Entertainment, such as Mirror Mirror, Giant Spider or The Banker etc.

As a fan of the label, I’m looking forward to the upcoming slate of releases, and whilst Dark Force has improved a lot since it first started, there is always room for improvement.

Arrow messed up the subtitling on US version of The Happiness of the Katakuris , using UK dialect in American English subs for a movie definitely not set in the UK and that makes no sense for US market. Never fixed.

Dear Dark Force...

I know that you get a lot of grief from folks about your business, but I have enjoyed supporting your business and I have enjoyed watching your Blu-ray releases.

Would it be possible to extend the invitation of your membership for a couple of months instead of having a narrow time window to join?

I'm still ordering Blu-rays even now and it's public knowledge that I spend a ton of money on this hobby, but I think that I speak for many people when I say that I'd rather wait until the economic situation becomes more predictable before I throw down $399 for a membership. It's an awesome deal, and I could afford it right this second if I were so inclined, but it's tough to justify, given the current circumstances.

That would probably help as I'm sure there a some folks that aren't joining at the moment given the uncertainty w/ the COVID-19 situation and with people being laid off due to mandatory closures.

Maybe Dark Force could do a "lay away" reservation. You have to sign up now, but no payment due until June 15th however no shipment until you pay - and once you do pay you get the first 3 months of movies and bonuses in your first package; then it proceeds normally from there on. But if you don't pay by June 15th the order is cancelled.

Those of you who subscribe will never get everything Dave is promising. I can't believe this carnival barker has managed to dupe any of you--with the exception of Ruined, who is well on his way to accomplishing his life's only goal of wasting his entire existence in this thread--into shelling out nearly $400 in exchange for vague promises of what he'll be providing at various points over the next couple of years. When I first read that announcement, I had to laugh, because I could see the con coming from a mile away.

Given the current circumstances, you'd be better off withdrawing 399 $1 bills from your bank account and using them for toilet paper.

So I decided to watch the two Mirror Mirror releases... credit where it's due, they both look good to me.
But wow. I did not really find the first one to offer much, not terrible but not exciting. The sequel is low-rent Argento with a few interesting shots....

90s horror isn't particularly my jam but these seem extra forgettable.
