Just got an email stating "Stagecoach" shipped. When I ordered it on March 3, I wasn't a Prime member then. I was starting March 27. So, they charged me $2.98 to ship and it is not even two day shipping. I just fired off an email letting Amazon CS know what I thought about them screwing up. Grrr

Unfortunately no resurrections that night. Did have a pretty great time seeing one of my favorite living bands, LCD Soundsystem. I've got my fingers crossed for a NY Film Festival screening.

How did I screw up? I was a Prime member at the time of shipping. As such, I should not have paid for shipping. Money was taken out of my account today. My order page even shows me being a Prime member.

Amazon will not check back through your outstanding orders and apply a Prime shipping adjustment simply because you have become a member after the fact, it doesn't work like that. You should have at least updated your shipping yourself (if that is an option) or cancelled and re-ordered with the available Prime options.

Amazon is a vendor, not your personal assistant. I'm not trying to be shitty, but that is the way it is.

We disagree. In my opinion, Amazon should have updated its system to reflect the current status at the time payment was received. I will see what their reply is.

who cares? heck, just the disk is worth $30 when you order a new case through criterion, maybe you can request a booklet along with it.

hehe. i would never pay that amount for a single movie blu. im a cheapskate. the only one i spent $33 for was a brand new sealed oop akira. also at FYE. but i got third man for $15.98 and kagemusha for $16.00, tax not included. the only blus ill spend a decent amount of $$ on are criterions, since they rarely drop in price.
