Universal does this all the time, has for years. Some rare exceptions here and there but often they don't list it on the actual cover art only slip.

Very true. Warner also. I've purchased a bunch that didn't have a slipcover, no metion of a DC inside & there was a working code sheet inside the case. Slipcovers are really intended for the initial releases, and tend to disappear (or be thrown out) prior to the DCs expiring. Its really a cost cutting measure, so they only have to design cover art once on initial release.

Not to mention all those folks who think it's moral to buy a bunch of slip-covered titles, and return them sans slipcovers, so they can sell them on ebay.

They should implement new laws against it, punishable of jail sentences.
It is totally scandalous. What kind of mind troubled people would do that.

* Not much on sale of interest @ Amazon Canada; boring.

I don't remember from the previous years, are they gonna add more deals as the day progresses?

Prime Day deals are all reflected on product page under regular price. Final price is in checkout of the cart. Cart page total shows non-prime-deal total.

Pet Semetary (Original) 4k - 14.99
Mission Impossible Fallout 4k - 15.99
Interstellar 4k - 15.99

There is an Eclipse Series DVD set on Prime Day as well? Ingrid Bergman's Swedish Years is $19.99
(these films are available on the Criterion Channel)

They might? They did last year. However, it was mainly stuff like DVD sets etc. that usually make the rounds. Not sure if there's really anything too worthwhile every year.

Oo, it looks like there is a section with upcoming deals: Arrow titles are in here... "Iguana with a Tongue of Fire" (deal @ 11:25AM) and "Waterworld" (deal @ 6:45PM)

OK, thanks, no 4Ks on that page so I guess that was it for 4K deals, I think I'll just grab Interstellar and call it a (prime) day.

The thing is, that section gets updated every so often. I'm not guaranteeing it does, but I wouldn't count it out Might be worth checking in later today

The Friday the 13th 8 Film Collection is down from $33.99 to $24.99 for Prime Day which I think is pretty decent for anyone who hasn't picked this set up yet...

Got this for $26 when it was first released. $25 is pretty good though. Obviously missing some of the pieces from the original tin, but for the price it really can't be beat. I bought the new set as a backup just in case something happens to any of the discs in my tin set.

Annihilation 4K is $14.99
Mandy $9.99
Star Trek ...
[Show spoiler]TOS + Animated Series $54.99
--- looks like this might be sold out?

---

DVD Sets:
Spongebob First 100 Episodes $19.99
Hey Arnold! Complete Collection $29.99
Dr. Katz $64.99
Daria $24.99

---

Far Cry New Dawn $19.99 (Xbox/PS4)

PS4 Greatest Hits (or equivalent name) are $8.99. If I had a PS4, or $350 sitting around, I'd jump on this. As it is I'll just wait for Black Friday, and buy these games digital because that's what I would do anyway, lol. These sale prices always f*** up my brain

The Star Trek set also includes the first 6 Star Trek movies that feature the original cast.

I bought Green Book 4K, it's $12.99. Seemed like a good deal for last year's best picture winner. Same price as the Blu-Ray.

Also to report back on the First Man 4K, the digital copy was still inside of my replacement despite not listing it. This is the first time I've had this happen with Universal. Glad I got my digital copy still at least.

Sleeping Dogs (Arrow Academy) @ $14.99

My Man Godfrey (Criterion) @ $19.99

Bad Times at the El Royale @ $9.99

I'm debating between these 2 releases:

Star Trek 50th Anniversary TV and Movie Collection [Blu-ray] @ $54.99

or this

Star Trek: Stardate Collection @ $34.99

The bigger box set has the Original Series plus 6 movies and the Animated Series.

The Stardate Collection has 10 Movies.

Just as was about to post, the bigger box set is OOS
