Since they are only one deep I'd bet they get tired in the second half and 'bama picks up offense, but it's been an interesting game so far.

I'm also happy that we are returning to a run game that has been greatly ignored. And for being a Redshirt Freshman, Edmunds looks like a strong contender to be the next big thing at VT.

Helps to have someone to throw the ball to that can get open and catch. You also have to factor in the Mike O'Cain effect. I know he was at Clemson too. That being said I would run the ball every play and hope the defense is better because they haven't been the last 2-3 years.

Reading through some stuff, I didn't realize that Georgia Tech's 70-0 win over Elon was the largest margin of victory for an ACC team ever.

That's surprising. I would have thought Bowden's Noles teams won by margins bigger than that against crappy opponents back when they were a powerhouse.

That's exactly who I thought of as well, but I guess he took the foot off the peddle.

Also odd, Georgia Tech scored 68 against UNC last year. But that was a 68-50 game.

I think it was more of a case of Ohio State looking like crap and dropping. If I had a vote I would have had Clemson above Ohio State as well.

Yeah Clemson right now should be no worse than 2. I hope one day College football does away with polls until after the 4th or 5th week. I know wishful thinking that will probably never happen but it's nice to wish.

After watching Vandy suck tonight though, if we can't beat them in Neyland, there's simply no hope.

How good or bad we are projected to be has absolutely no bearing on my excitement for college football! I am excited and hopeful at the beginning of every football season!

So I attended the game Saturday. The 2 biggest things I took away from the game was this...

1.) ZERO penalties! Let me say again...ZERO penalties! We may not be the most talented team but by god we just might be the most disciplined!

2.) ZERO turnovers!

A quite possible 12-0 season would be hard to not put in the NC game, but we'll see about that, and no I'm not predicting we'll go to the NC game either.
