I haven't seen any of the Craig films, but Pierce Brosnan did a good job, especially in "GoldenEye" and "Tomorrow Never Dies".

This would be my preferred choice for LTK - captures the lively, bright essence of the film perfectly.

And i'm really surprised neither of you chose this for TSWLM

It's not often that a fish is the best looking thing on a poster.

I am willing to share the PSD template to anyone who wants to attempt to complete the rest.

The economic downturn became personal yesterday with the announcement that my position at work was being eliminated with my company going through a major downsizing.

I therefore really need to devote my time to finding a new job.

I've enjoyed getting to know some really great people over the past year, some very talented individuals, but I will no longer be producing custom covers.

Best wishes to you all.
My friend I am very sorry to hear this news an I hope your search is successful and swift ...

I hope you continue with your talents as I think it will be therapeutic and helpful.

You're not the only one...I like the first also, but we seem to be in the minority.

Here is my redo of "Goldfinger"

There are actually 3 different posters in there but I am hoping people can't tell

Great redo, Darren! On some of these, it's going to be really hard to choose...

Question: On the spine, is the red too much? I found a psd of the Title treatment that allowed me to just use the gold gradient on the white part...what are people's thoughts?

Since there isn't any other color on the other spines, I would get rid of the red.

Other than that, I think it looks great.

From all the bond artwork, Goldfinger is maybe the most difficult since the artwork from that movie is not very good in my mind.

This thread seems to be dedicated to James Bond. Do you all save these so they can be printed out and inserted directly into blu-ray cases? Or do you just design them for fun?

Is there a particular reason why the villain's picture is used twice at the top of the poster ( I don't really remember the movie too well so maybe it is tied in somehow)? I think for that reason, I prefer the other one with just the three characters.

If anyone could turn this Bug's Life cover into a blu-ray format, that would be great. Since it came in a DVD case, I want to get rid of it but If I can convert it to a blu-ray case, I'll most likely keep it.

You are right on target there alphadec. For such an iconic movie that defined the whole series, the posters are all universally terrible.

This is the official US poster, far from the fantastic thunderball, etc.

[Show spoiler]
I think the spine title might be better without the red outline. Mainly because I think it will make the discs look more uniform when all together on the shelf. The red border may make TND stand out more and well let's be honest, this is a Bond title that should remain in the background as much as possible.

Definitely go without the red. TND isn't meant to stand out

And for the record, I liked the other poster as well but you still make the cover look great!
