The 3D of GitS was more medium, but the 1.85 ratio added to the immersion.

The production design, effects, stunts, and costumes were phenomenal.

I'd rather watch GitS 3D 10x, in the place of a boring Disney cash-in like Civil War.

My Titanic 3D arrived today. Might watch it later on tonight. Took me awhile to find one with a slipcover for a decent price.

Oh man. Once you see Titanic in 3D you'll understand why no one cares about seeing T2 in 3D...

Not sure what you mean by this? I heard Titanic 3D was well regarded conversion? Are you saying it is not? Now I get it

I just finish watching Taking of Tiger Mountain tonight and this movie was pretty amazing in 3D. I didn't know what to expect and enjoyed the film as well. This was one of best use of 3D in a live action film I have ever seen. It was definitely worth the money to import this thing from Hong Kong.

Just watched it in 3D and it was pretty well done. I agree they did a better conversion on this than with T2. Glad I finally got around to getting this. It's been years since I've revisited this movie and I don't think I'd ever watch it again unless it's the 3D version. Actually I had to go and check and it seems I didn't even have a blu ray of this in my library so it's been quite awhile. I know I have an older deluxe DVD set somewhere. I need to clean house and clear out most of my DVD's except some that are rare or don't have a blu ray at all yet. They just collect dust.

Wow. This is the very definition of great 3D. Strong and native. Not much else to say.

And what a great movie. All the ingredients of a Stephen Chow movie (Shaolin Soccer) are there: Crazy story full of heart and soul, silly slapstick humor and ridiculous CGI. What a blast we had. In some parts I had problems breathing from all the laughing.

The disc has English subtitles that are adjusted in their z plane to not interfere with the picture - always a good thing if they think about that. It is region A only.
Just ordered this and a few others from DDDHOUSE that I have missed out on over the last 12 months.

Can't wait for it to arrive as I've read a lot about how good it is.

Kudos for Kubo and his two paternal strings!

Great story, very much for adults. Great animation made even better by glorious 3D!

Great 3D and a really good action movie. It's just about fifteen minutes too long.

Very strong 3D. My only warning is that this film is VERY violent and has a lot of bad language and nudity. My mother was present the first time I watched it and we had to end up turning it off and watching it another time. It was much better than I expected it would be.
