So, I platinumed GOW and am really close to doing the same with GOW 2. Only thing I have left is the challenge 7 in challenge of the titans. Talk about annoying

I get right to the point where the only things left to kill are the big rock minotaur thing in the corner and one of those little pig things in armor. I get so focused on the minotaur that the pig thing stabs me in the back everytime.

Time to give it a rest for a few days

I jusr looked through the trophies after playing the first level on Spartan. You only need to play on Mortal to Plat. That's weak.

always check the trophies first. ha ha.

I WAS surprised to see you didnt' have to beat it on Spartan or whatever.

Glad, though. I'd never get a chance at a platinum. That's why I don't usually platinum games.

I actually don't think i'll be able to platinum either games... are there any tips for getting the harder trophies, such as beating the game with a time limit and those Challenges of the Gods?

Dang had such high hopes for these two games... It was great up until that giant fish that you have to like mega tap O or it won't work(I can't stand games that make you hurt you're arm or it just resets the boss health (like the crawl in MGS4 bad)

C'mon where is the challenge in your gaming when you complain about stuff like this? I remember games like the original Ninja Gaiden and BattleToads on the NES that would drive any sane gamer mad due to how cheap the game is. GOW 1 and 2 in comparison are very gamer friendly and most gamers will be able to platinum both titles with a little bit of time.

I guess i'll ask again about the Challenge of the Gods once i actually try it haha . So once i beat that, i get that awesome costume, but can i not use it on Easy mode?

You can use the costumes on any difficulty you beat it on and any easier ones below that. Say you beat it on normal, you could use it on that and on easy.

I'm not concerned with the difficulty(I like hard games) I am just REALLLY bad at the required super tap to beat a boss lol. I'll try again a few more times, otherwise it'll be shelved

i was really surprised they didnt require you to beat the game on the hardest difficulty, thats pretty much a standard gold trophy in games like GoW

I tried a new tapping technique I read, and I smoked that part in Athens now just wondering if I've missed any feathers up till this point? I see theirs a trophy for it, but I haven't seen a feather yet.


Anyone have any advice on how to save that women in the blue hanging to the rope in Athens?

Thanks. As usual right after I post something I figure it out lol. But yeah I just learn that the Orbs buy you upgrade I was on like level 18 or 20 when I figured it out

hahaha, No offense, but WOW! Make sure you break as many objects as possible to gain additional orbs. You'll need a LOT to upgrade everything.

Yeah thats what I'd been doing, but I went to the power up menu and I pressed it and it deducted like a few points (I didn't put two and two together) I thought all it did was "power up" the weapon for a short while so I figured I'd need it later which is how I got to like 20

I've just given up on the platinum of GOW. I platinumed GOWII and had fun doing so, but GOW is just waaayy too tedious and time consuming for me. Whoever thought it's a good idea not to have save points in the Trial of the Gods, should be fired.

It's the same crap all over again: people who don't have a lot of free time to game are being punished:
- GOW: no save in Trial of the Gods means I have to start over again every single time. I keep being stuck at level 10 and am sick and tired of having to use what little game time I have in the same 9 levels I've already completed every night before
- Killzone 2: for online rank the total points count and not the average per match. That means that gamers with a lot of free time on their hands can have much better odds at reaching the highest ranks and gamers like me can give up even before trying.

I wish developers would consider people from my demographic more (working, studying family people with little game time on their hands)

I hear that!!! A lot of times i have to wait for a holiday to finish some trophies since they are sooo time consuming. I was lucky enough to platinum GTA4 and UT3 during the summer, and LBP shortly afterwords. I'll be opening my Killzone 2 for my birthday next month, and you make it seem like it's a tedious task lol.
