Default Rakht Charitra

I loved both the Rakht Charitra seqels, amazing action, just love the cinematography of the movies, i would love them in blu ray

I would also like Aarakshan in blu ray, great story, amazing drama, amitabh and saif tremendous acting.

I would love Prince in Blu ray, the songs are my favorite, Tere Liye, and it is bondesque with its action scenes shot in south africa would make a great blu ray.

Hum Dil Dey Chukhe Sanaam and Taal i would die for in blu ray, with Devdas as well, and classics like Pakeezah, with Meena Kumari.

guyz a WARNING for all you those who are waiting for BLU RAY OF MAUSAM....i watched the movie yesterday on 2k digital cinema and the picture is heavily DNRed and everyone's faces appear to be like wax statues.... and all the fine detailing and textures are absent... and its such a shame because cinematography is brilliant and the movie could have been a visual treat.... eros should be ashamed of themselves and expect sources of ra one and rockstar...both distributed by eros to be like that.

and also according to me it was one of the worst love storeys ever.... i hate it as much as kites...! simply awfull movie..!

saw it in 35mm today, and thought it looked quite good. i think the point was for it to look a little soft like film... anyway.

but yeah... the film's quite a disappointment. not quite Kites-level disaster...

Thumbs up Watched Mausam

I watched Mausam at my Naz 8 theatre, and it is the most amazing love story and most moving movie which will truly make you fall in love again. Sonam Kapoor's acting is "Aishwariya" like, she is really maturing as an actress, the way she emoted in this movie is top notch. I love the scenes in Punjab when the young Kahmiri girl falls in love with the Punjabi boy.

The movie i think is intentionally soft to create the romantic effect. It has great colors and resolution is very good in theatre , in just has a softness which i think is intented to create theat "romance effect" so it doesnt look like Singham which is so shap and resolute its "real:, the movie has a surreal dream like feel to it.

I am going to dye when this blu ray comes out, Sonam Kapoor is truly truly amazing to watch, her nuances, mannerisms, emotions, sadnesss.

WIll be one great blu ray.

Angry Professional Review of Film Excerpt.

The major attraction of Mausam is obviously Shahid Kapoor's superb performance. The Bollywood actor has wide scope to exhibit his acting skills and he has taken a big leap and lived up to the expectations of his role. Sonam Kapoor has also done a wonderful acting, but as an actress, she still has long way to go. Other artistes have also done well in their respective roles.

The second highlight of Mausam is its lively music that suits the tone of a life-affirming love story. Pritam Chakraborty has composed melodious and hummable songs for the film. Besides music, cinematography is also a major attraction and Binod Pradhan has captured some of the most charming scenes in his frames for the film.

Overall, Mausam is a brilliant effort by Pankaj Kapoor, though he has a long way to go when it comes to writing a screenplay and direction. The movie is obviously not an average love story that usually hits screen. It is a must watch romantic flick.

This movie is all about the unconditional love that is so heartbreaking and real worth of watching. I suggest everyone to go and watch this movie. The length of movie is not to criticise but adds the charms that lighten that hope for love, the passion and to devote your whole life to the person you love most. The whole trace and scenerio of movie only illustrate the situational condition where you are so much bounded that even you want u can't do anything. I love the fact that it's unspoken feelings has merged so beautifully that even for a second i couldn't make my eye out of it. And lastly its a feelings that will be appreciated by the audience who truely believe on love , faith and god like me.
well done to the writer and all the cast and crew for making the real life moment so special. worth it.

No Skerbeno ime not being sarcastic, ime not saying it should get filmfare award of year, it is a good movie, Shahid Kapoor's acting is great as is Sonam's . Her emoting and expressions and innocence give for an endearing performance

The movie has got lots of positive comments, ime NOT BEING SARCASTIC, just giving my opinion that's what forums are for.

Mausam had a great first half but the second half dragged and had a horrible climax and cliched ending. Shahid and Sonam gave great performances but their characters and script let them down.

Smile Mausam is good above average movie

Mausam is not as someone said " horrible movie" , but it is good entertainment and not filmfare best movie by any means, there are great aspects to the movie like sonam's acting in Punjab, her mannerisms, playful innocence, facial gestures, innocent flirting with Shahid, the love build up was very well done.

I like her acting, Shahid went to a new level, the movie had lots of twists and turns and yes it was too long, and the fact that they spent eight years finding each other cause they couldn't contact each other and this in era of late 1990's. they couldn't get each other by phone or mail, was a little weird, that an old flame was the only contact and she burnt Sonam's forewarding adress in Ahmedabad. I still don't know why sonam didn't leave a message on Shahid's sisters machine costantly where she was, Malekpour, Scotland, that was a little odd. Howvever , it is a great love story, nice songs, great visuals, and sonam looked stunning, its not the greatest movie, but it is a good one, that is what movies are entertainment for three hours.

Karim,

Liking a movie is very relative in similar way as people like their food, friends, celebrities and many other things in life.

If you liked Mausam, you don't really need to justify after a certain point. You liked it with your own reasoning and similarly someone hated it as per their own reasoning and this difference does not lessen the value of your personal opinion or the that of the person who hated it.

So, 'Good', 'Above average', 'Horrible' etc are all relative terms and does not make much sense to others if you are trying to prove against what someone else might think.

However, for the sake of debate you should try and justify why you liked it and for that you need to share with us something more than you posted so that people get intrigued. Love story, good acting, nice songs etc are not enough to get the discussion moving to a constructive debate. However, if you you elaborate further people may take notice and start sharing their thoughts.

I will be more interested to get into such debates with members here. Often we miss elements of a movie that are more deeper than nice songs, melodrama, masala, comedy, sets, costumes and standard acting. I find other forums a great place to know and explore such things on why people loved or hated beyond the superficial judgement.

Even the perception of entertainment is also relative. Some prefer entertaining their mind only for a limited time and have a great time watching a movie and some prefer their 'soul' to be entertained...No one is right or wrong...
