Drive angry - decent 3d on par with My bloody valentine, typical Nicolas Cage flick with hot chick

Hotel Transylvania: mildly funny family flick. Depth was decent thru out. Some scenes were better than others. Maybe a tad above average concerning 3D presentation.....but just.

So after saying about a week ago that I was going to watch Tangled, I finally did last night. It was an excellent movie.
It was one of the only 3D blurays that I have actually seen some crosstalk show up with my set up though. But it was over quick and did not affect my enjoyment of the movie.

Although now that I have finally seen Tangled, Brave is an even worse movie.

Agreed. Brave, in comparison to Tangled, is the weaker flick.

avatar, the amazing spider-man, the avengers, frankenweenie, swords at the dragon gate.

avatar = freaking awesome in 3d, especially the forest in 3d.

the avengers = awesome movie, one of the best action movies i've seen but wasn't that thrilled by the 3d overall, would've been happy to watch it without 3d.

amazing spider-man = decent movie especially emma stone and decent 3d especially with the web swinging.. although not sure how i feel about this peter parker.

frankenweenie = wasn't a fan... the whole teenager in love with his dog was like *vomit* .. best thing about it was the oz 3d trailer and winona ryder's voice.

swords = too long but decent enough.

yeah alot of good stuff about it, especially loved the scene where the teacher was listening to classical music on headphones in the front and they were battling behind him and we heard the music and they were fighting in silence.

the only thing i'm not sure about is the direction of this peter parker.. he isn't nerdy enough for me, it's hard to enjoy the movie when it feels like peter parker is ruined.
the actor was way too cool and good looking, not the spider-man/peter parker i'm familiar with.. i liked tobey mcguire much more as peter.

i heard someone say it was like "twilight" spider-man with him as the lead, which seemed to have some truth to it.

um, that was Stan Lee's cameo in the movie. He's not just "the teacher"... lol.

Now I'm waiting for someone to say "Who's Stan Lee?"...

oh, sorry.. i wasn't really looking at him i was looking at the action behind him... i don't make a habit of focusing on older guys.
i noticed him in the avengers though.

i know who he is, even though i'm team dc comics at heart.
read alot of the first run of x-men/avengers.

Watched Tangled tonight. Specter influenced my decision. I will watch Star Trek tomomrow....maybe,lol. I change my mind sometimes when it's movie time, lol.

Watched Hotel Transylvania tonight, really enjoyed the movie, laughed quite a bit, the 3d was pretty good also, some nice depth, can't really recall any pop outs, but really glad we picked this one up.

Watched Clash of the Titans, the 3d could have been a lot better in this one, there were a few scenes where they had the opportunity to really show off the 3d but didn't. I liked the movie more than Wrath of the Titans though.

Frankenweenie was a decent movie with some good 3d, my nieces were scared of a few scenes and I doubt they'll ask to watch it again any time soon.

Before I went to see this in theaters I felt the same way....but I have a nephew that is a major comic book collector and he explained the difference between the two directions and how it relates to the actual comic book story. Even so I was like, no way Tobey Maguire is Spiderman.....but I left feeling different.

Had to look up who Stan Lee was.

I thought tangled was better as a movie and had better 3d. I liked Brave as well and the 3d was good too but I didn't enjoy it as much.
