you are correct.

Hot toys and Mondo are two separate companies. And Mondo is now moving into the 1/6 scale with the TMNT figures.

They are however distributed (In North America) by Sideshow. Most people think Hot Toys and Sideshow are the same thing.

To answer your questions about the lightboxes, they are official movie poster size, 27x40. Just get the double sided original posters that the cinema's use and you're good to go.

Thanks mate, I'm definitely gonna get one. I couldn't help myself today though and bought an evil Hot Toys Superman. It cost me £170 from a UK buyer on eBay including postage. So not to bad! It's addictive all this Hot Toys buying. I'd love an iron man like yourself but it will have to wait.

Haven't told my girlfriend yet! Lol!

yep it really sucks. im just gonna have to be very picky as prices on ebay are very expensive for OOP stuff and its impossible to order from america due to the import tax which just jacks the price up crazy high so we are forced to buy from the uk/europe.

I some how managed to snag a Dark Knight DX02 for £169.99 on eBay last night in a moment of madness! I bought two HT figures yesterday. The other one was £170-Evil Superman, so with the new fridge freezer I bought as well yesterday I spent a lot of dosh! The girlfriend wasn't impressed!

Ive hardly bought any blurays lately because I've been concentrating on my HT collection. When I start buying them properly again it will seem cheap compared to HT collecting!

I feel the same way now. $75 steelbooks feel super affordable.

My Art Figures Dredd 3D figure came yesterday from seller AnimalMother over at Sideshowcollectors.com, I highly recommend him as a seller. I paid late Friday evening and he shipped Priority Mail the next day from Florida. Great guy too, easy to work with.

Yeah, some of the iminime customs and head sculpts some have for sale there are amazing, and crazy expensive. I'm trying not to go down that road just yet though.

You can find A LOT of brand new/in shipper Hot Toys quite a bit below eBay prices. They have a Sales thread for figures, and one for Props/Statues too. This was my first buy from someone on there, only because I was having ridiculous luck on eBay.

Cannot even describe the sheer awesomeness of the seller from there who sold me Bane. Shipped it Saturday afternoon and it arrived Monday (but had to pick it up Tuesday at the post office). I'm in a payment plan with another seller on there for the Batman figure and armory set.

Put the Speeder bike together last night. Still have the other scout trooper sealed, need to open him later and set him up. He's going to have to fight this guy for the bike though. He's already claimed it.
