I picked up Universal Soldier and that 9 film collection from mill creek.

Van Damme is now up to 4th on my actors in my collection. 23 JCVD movies. He trails Sly, Clint and Samuel L. Jackson now.

Watched We Die young today, and it's the best thing JCVD has done for years. I'll definitely buy it on Blu when it's out

Ordered the Aussie blu too. Gonna find a way to sell off the UK blu upon its arrival in the States.

EDIT: Ended up getting refunded by Amazon.co.uk for the UK blu, which helps balance out the funds put towards the Aussie blu.

Ok Just received my Aussie Blu-ray of The Bouncer (I'm at work and unable to check the disc physically), but the cover states:

86 minutes runtime
Languages: English / French
Subtitles: Forced English subs for Foreign Dialogue

So this is probably the best version of the shorter version anyhow.

If it turns out to be the 94 min version I will report back...

Yeah the UK is the shorter cut with dubbed audio (albeit quite well done dubbing).

Unknown status on the Canadian disc, amazon.ca says this:
Language: English, French
Subtitles: English, French
No runtime mentioned.

Ok quick update on the Aussie Blu-ray of The Bouncer.

There is only one audio track which even though it says it's English, it is in fact the mostly French audio. So good news there.
The English subtitles are burnt in for the French speaking parts, they look good so no complaints from me. There is an optional HoH subtitle track as well.

It's also region B locked, if that matters.

Only downside is, it's definitely the 86 minute cut.

I'm happy with this purchase as it retains the original soundtrack. Will try and source the extended cut later down the line.

Bummer that the director's cut for Hard Target will most likely never see the light of day on blu ray. Though it's fun, I'm not particularly all that much of a fan of the film anyways but it would still be nice to see the intended unmolested cut of the film before the dreadful MPAA got their a**es involved to see if it's an improvement. I had no idea how much was actually butchered with the theatrical cut.

At the moment yes it's the only Blu-ray with the extended cut

The Canadian disc might be, as the VVS Films website indicates 94 minutes http://vvs.ca/film.php?numFilm=898&title=The%20Bouncer,
but this film's runtime has been misquoted before a few times...

It is being released today, so maybe a Canadian Van Damme fan could tell us
