Is Bronson´s T-shirt really dark blue as it should be or is it black?

Right at the beginning you can see a French flag. On the Spanish or Japanese blu-ray you can´t identfy the flag as being French because the color on these blu-ray is "without words".

Oh damn, another crappy release from Kino Lorber.

I own an amazing HD version shown on German HDTV. The T-shirt(Bronson´s) on the boat is clearly!!!!!! dark blue and throughout the whole film.

I´m really pissed off. But thanks for the information.

It´s a blu-ray, therefore not such a difficult task.

Just received Death Wish yesterday and I must say the picture quality looks pretty damn good for a film this old - very pleased with the purchase. I'd forgotten that a young and creepy looking Jeff Goldblum played one of the miscreants in this classic flick.

That wasn´t a tantrum at all. I own an excellent HDTV version of the film (Cold Sweat) with a great master.

But when Kino Lorber lied about the new master, then it´s annoying.

To be honest, I wasn´t surprised that the picture quality is lousy because Kino Lorber release so many blu-rays that they don´t care for the quality.

I once saw a video where Bronson and Goldblum were talking to each other before the Blockbuster Awards 1997.

So they definitely met after shooting "St. Ives" in 1976.

my sentiments as well... yes would hope for (and would upgrade for) better, remastered transfers of Bronson titles... but they are still a worthy upgrade from my old dvd versions..............

I'm very happy that a studio is even bothering to release older (and somewhat forgotten) Bronson titles!

Love those early Goldblum pop-ups in the 70s before making it big in Body Snatchers; he's also the silent Tricycle Man in Nashville and the "I forgot my mantra" telephone guy in Annie Hall.

Well, I have never seen Cold Sweat on Blu-ray or DVD before, only on Amazon Prime Video, so I don't have any other transfers to compare the KL Blu-ray against. However, just watching the first 10 minutes or so of Cold Sweat, it is clear to me that Bronson's shirt is a dark navy color when he is in the light and only looks black in the opening scene on the boat when he is in the shade under the boat's canopy.
