Since WandaVision should have something that leads into something coming soon on Disney plus or in theaters, why is the discussion so focused on 2022 Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness? Yes we know Wanda is in that, but there has to be something that connects other Disney plus series that are upcoming a lot sooner. You have Loki how is quite capable of reality manipulation. Then you have Falcon and the Winter Solider which encompasses War Machine with various enemies.

Actor Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, called out Vision Actor Paul Bettany for utilizing one of his trademark tricks in the new Disney+ series, WandaVision.

While answering fan questions during the WandaVision Virtual Launch Event, Hiddleston made a surprise guest appearance to pose a question regarding Vision's sudden return to the MCU following his death in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War. "When we last saw Vision in Infinity war, he was no longer living, but now he's alive" Hiddleston said, "I was just wondering, don't you think that's more of a Loki thing, my kind of thing?"

Honestly this seemed the most likely to me, but somebody posted another theory which seems even more likely given how many people suspect Agnes isn't what she appears. The villain they predicted she might be revealed to be is

[Show spoiler]Dreamqueen, who happens to be the daughter of Nightmare, has similar powers and could tie into her daddy playing the villain in Doctor Strange 2.

WandaVision was supposed to end just in time for Doctor Strange 2 to premiere in theaters.

At least that is my understanding.

I'm pretty sure Feigi or someone else confirmed that Wandavision is pretty much the beginning of a sort of mini 3 part story. With Spider-man 3 being the second part and it all ending in DS Multiverse of Madness.

So that's why no one is mentioning this show having any ties to the others.

I honestly don't think that will be the case at this point though. That has been the most popular theory other than

because they're ripped straight from the comics involving Wanda.

If Marvel wants this to be a surprise, then it will likely be something new or something not as many people are guessing because I can guarantee most of these clues people keep citing are put there to intentionally mislead comics fans (since they're the only ones picking them up).

It does mean something—he’s not Pietro, which was always a given. In the Fox X-Men films, he was called Peter, so whether he’s that character or some other entity in that form, he’s definitely not Pietro.

I still fall on the side of him being the Fox Quicksilver though. Everyone who is saying he’s not and pointing out all the changes seem to miss the point that EVERYONE in the hex has been changed in some way. If Peter was pulled into the hex from his dimension he’d be changed to what Wanda desired.

The one thing that is a constant in the hex though is nobody is just given powers they don’t already have (though it seems people may start getting powers from return trips like Monica). Point being if “Pietro” has super speed, he’d have to have been someone who already had those powers like Peter from the X-Men films.

I agree with you - I think just about everything points to him being the Fox Quicksilver who was plucked out of that universe as a substitute for Dead Pietro, since Dead Pietro was, well, dead.

However, the thing that doesn't completely jive for me is that Wanda saw a ghastly glimpse of him all shot up (like she saw Vision), and he mentions being shot up...which isn't what happened to that Quicksilver.

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how it all shakes out.
