At least three of those are in the works, and could potentially be happening. I wouldn't worry too much about 'Jack Reacher 2' and 'The Lincoln Lawyer 2'. Only one that is iffy is 'Red 3', because we haven't seen the overseas numbers yet...

RED 2 cost $84 million to make and it's grossed about $80 million worldwide so far. DVD/Blu-ray and television may put it in the black but I still don't see the third installment happening.

I forgot to mention The A-Team 2. I thought of it when they revealed that the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean would be subtitled Dead Men Tell No Tales (because I wanted to see the A-Team sequel be named The A-Team: Dead Men Tell No Tale).

The Car 2 -the end credits show The Car riding on some highway near a city so quite far from the desert setting of the movie. So maybe go with that in a different setting.

Did you ever read that fan-made screenplay of a Buckaroo Banzai sequel screenplay. I would humbly say it's better then the movie, highly recommend it!
