I’m about to watch Tombstone (The Director’s Cut) on DVD. I found a mint condition copy at a used disc shop for $2.99. Never seen the director’s cut before so, this should be a fun watch while paying tribute to the late great Val Kilmer.

It's very sad he died. He's one of all men actors that's my favorites. Speaking of Tombstone I have the original version of it on DVD, didn't know it had a director's cut. The only director's cut DVD I own is of Sling Blade which was just recently added last week among many others.

Got my DVDs of Enemy Of The State, The Fifth Element and LA Confidental. I still have one more DVD currently on the way that should be arriving in the mail tomorrow's week sometime and that one is Ghost with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore.

Just saved the day as I put in the Blu-ray to find out it’s not being read by my player.

Watched Sin: The Movie.
Not great, but not a complete waste of time at least. Interesting that the Dub and later JPN Audio + Sub are entirely different stories, but not interesting enough for me to watch the other and compare.

Broken Flowers

Going straight from DVD to 4K on this one, whenever that comes out.

This film is the cure for romantic comedy burnout. No saccharine sweet Hallmark moments here, but also no overblown emotional "darkness" that plagues Hollywood still.

Bill Murray is about to go on a trip by plane and rental car, in an attempt to solve a mystery about his past. The road ahead is leading him to awkward social moments that are the reason we stay home instead.

I recommend picking up this DVD! The 4K will probably be a Criterion job.

I remember having that one on dvd some years back but couldn't enjoy it. When is the 4k due for release?
