Hey guys, is there a "Curious Case of Benjamin Button" cover available that's sized to fit a Criterion case? Ideally it would look exactly like the standard one, except someone skilled has adjusted a few things so the dimensions fit a Criterion case, while still keeping the same design and all the same information. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks!

When people commission me for covers they become the sole owners of that work and are free to share them in any way they please. It's part of the deal.

I don't know if other cover artists look at it the same way. Best to clear it with the artist first. Always.

Yeah these were custom made for me on order. I even helped with picking the images on some of them. The setup and all the work was done by the artist, Zoltan.

The digis were specially made and I just transferred my discs from my basic US copies.

Great cover!!!! Have you thought about doing ones for the individual movies with the "phase one" on the spine?

One thing I notice is that, especially with Captain America on the back, there's still quite an outline around him (remnants from the pic you extracted him from) and the edges aren't clean. If you want to get rid of this and have him fading into the darkness use an outline eraser or a small strong eraser. Then take the layer and go select > color range and select the black with 100-150 "fuzziness" and delete it. That way he fades into the black you've chosen as the background.

Note: if he has a layer mask, then you could just adjust the layer mask with the clean edge tool.

I'm not really sure what happened here, but I was actually enjoying the customs too. They were definitely giving Nissen some competition on the one's he did. Being artistic is a slippery slope. You are going to have folks(with probably less talent) critique anything you do. That's just par for the course. There is a piece I drew back in the day of The Crow. It was a simple piece. Shelly on one side, Eric center and Sarah with a crow on their gravestones. One of my best pieces that to this day only needs some minor tweaking to make it work better. Anyway, I told someone how I had to use a Julia Roberts scrap pic to create the Shelly. So when I was showing the piece to another friend this butthead says, it doesn't look like Shelly. Of course the other friend disagreed and I wondered, had they not known my secret would they have been so critical of it? My point is this, everyone is a critic. Don't let a few folks brings you down and prevent you from posting in this thread. You guys have more computer skills than some of the folks working in the actual entertainment field right now. If you were putting the posters together I wouldn't be as opposed to seeing those instead of the posters I grew up with.

I'm looking for a Big Lebowski blu-ray cover. I checked euphoricfx and only saw one that I'm not particularly fond of. I have the digi-book and want to place it in a regular case so if anyone has a scan of the standard blu-ray case, would be sufficient. Thanks for any help.

Here's the link for the cover i'm looking for:

Anyone doing anything artistic — graphics, novels, films, paintings, music, etc — is going to get critiques. That's the nature of art. Some will like it, others won't. It has nothing to do with how talented the critic is or not... if they see something they don't like, they have the right to say so. If the artist can't brush off negative comments, or build form them constructively, then that person shouldn't be an artist in the first place.

If the criticism is constructive then fine.

But to paraphrase Freud "A dick is just a dick!" Some people just say unpleasant things just for the fun of it. There isn't anything constructive about it.

If anyone is looking for scans or customs for any movies shoot me a PM and I can probally help you out. I have access to covers on most major cover sites and I don't mind helping people out with a cover or 2 if they need it.

Also as soon as things clear up i plan on having Nissen make a matching set of covers for the Avengers: Phase 1 series and will have him share them with everyone here. I am hoping to use Tyler Stout artwork for them but I can't find anything good for Incredible Hulk or Thor so I might have him do something similar to his Spider-man customs becasue they were sweet

Constructive criticism is fine and welcomed. But at the end of the day the only person I have to please is myself. I made my James Bond covers for myself and my own enjoyment.

So when I get comments like "You need to change the poster on You Only Live Twice to the gyrocopter" or "You have to add a tagline to Octopu**Y" or "You are an idiot for putting an image of Ursula Andress for the back images on Dr. No...its a Connery movie not an Andress movie" etc etc then my reaction is:

I don't need to do anything. I'm happy with them just the way they are.
