Hahahaha.... so I was reading Petrino's wiki page, and Western Kentucky pulled a smart move on Petrino knowing his history. He signed a four-year deal at $855K per year. If he leaves at any point during the contract, he has to pay the school 200K per month for the 6th months after he leaves. Sure, if some school really wants him, they'll cover it, but it's a smart move considering he's left during every contract he's had (except when he got fired).

Texas's starting QB got hurt too. Now crappy Case McCoy is in the game. This one is over. Texas has given up a school record 531 rushing yards to BYU.

Butch Jones definitely has his players giving 100%... Dooley was such a joke. I hated him. I vowed to never go to another game after watching them get slaughtered by Bama at Neyland (granted I knew it would be awful before kickoff) until Dooley was out.

I agree though... 6-6 (7-5 at best). Schedule is about to get brutal. If UT can lose by less than 20 points to Oregon, Butch Jones might be the second coming of Jesus.

Yes, he's not going anywhere until the end of the season at the earliest. Unless USC ends up 6-7 or worse I doubt he'll be fired. So far they've only had one bad season. Wow, already? I only caught a little of the game and didn't hear that. Can't really blame USC fans after that performance. They've been raking in great recruiting classes under Kiffin so I don't get how they're this bad.

He needs to pick a QB. This QB shuffle isnt helping their situation either. Its like they are playing scared to make a mistake for fear of losing the battle.

Yeah that's what I was saying at the end of the season. I see them losing 5 to 6 games.

Petrino isn't staying at Western Kentucky very long and both parties know that. He's too good of a coach, a big conference school will hire him in a year or two.

His recruiting classes are running dry though. He's currently ranked #40 in ESPN's rankings and #51 in Rivals.com respectively. Granted, he is on restrictions, but there is no way a USC program should be ranked behind programs like Western Michigan in recruiting. I doubt he will be fired midseason, but his prospects aren't good to be in town for another year.

When is USC's probation up? He is just there until its over. Like Shula was at 'Bama. I think his days were over there after that beat down GT gave them in the bowl.

Contracts mean nothing. They are always ripped up. Petrino is gone maybe this year but for sure by next.

I could definitely see a team desperate for success like Virginia jumping on Petrino. I think London is out after this season.
