Hi taei,

Zoltan is a guy from Hungary that makes custom digipacks. There are a group of guys actually that started making digis for their own collection. They then started making digis for other people. I don't know if they were taking requests for new pieces, or simply reproducing digis they had already created. Zoltan did make some "from-scratch" digis for me. I got 10 from him total.

I don't think he's been too active lately because he has gotten into another project/business so that's taking a lot of his time. Digimaking was never any kind of full-time thing for him. It was just something he did in his spare time when he could after his day job.

I can PM you more information and send you a link for their site as well if you'd like. I'm going to post some other digis he/they did for a friend in Slovakia. He's a huge Christopher Nolan fan and they did some great work for him too

Here's Memento

I'm trying to put together a cover for Chris Nolan's Batman trilogy. Here's what I've come up with so far. I know the front is just one of the Dark Knight posters, but I like it so much, I just can't let it go. The real challenge is the back cover. There are so many characters, I want to be able to include a picture of almost all of them. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome. The grayish area on the back is for pictures from the movie; the black is for the synopsis. I know the characters on the back aren't cut out very good; I just did it quickly to see if it would work. I would like to list the special features, but there are so many I feel like they would take up too much space.

This Zoltan guy is an extremely talented guy. I wouldn't mind some of these digipacks too.

Personally, I like that fan made trilogy poster someone made, that combines all three posters into one awesome mash up.

or even this one: http://geektyrant.com/storage/2011-p...=1339718798161

I don't see a need to include every character on the back of the box, and anyway that could be done by using scenes from the respective movies in that gray area.

In regards to the special features, just list what you consider the best and for the rest put "And More!"

I do have to say, that I love the design so far.

I don't know you can fit a lot of info on a cover, this is how I arranged it for mine, this is for a 4-6 Disc Viva Elite Case.

Download is at EuphoricFX, or most other well known coversites.

The most perfect cover for this trilogy has to be one of these:

Well since this is a "Custom Cover Art Thread", and those are actually "posters" not "covers", and yes I know for some it's a tiny distinction but they are in point of fact very different things, I'm sorry but I kind of fail to see the relevance of your post.

I like the last one in taei's post. I'd reword the top taglines and make the title something simple like, The Dark Knight Trilogy or something. Some of the Batman covers seem a bit busy with all of the characters being squeezed in. That's just my 2 cents though.

What? Plenty of Home video cases use poster art as a cover. He's telling you to use one as a template for a cleaner and more tasteful overall look.

And he happens to be right.

I do like that second poster quite a bit. I'm kind of going back & forth with that one and the one I already have.

Eh????
Posters and covers are quite often the same thing.
"custom cover art" doesn't mean art that's totally from scratch, just an alternative to the official cover art.

Most of the covers I've commissioned are based on existing posters.

wow! same request!!! please PM me !!!

I'm particularly fond of the 2 first artwork/packaging of this digipack "The Prestige".

looks fantastic.
so fantastic that I believe that it is probably a fan art because I've never seen packaging like that in the retailers (too much surcharge of text, etc...)

So far so good. I'm just getting into this hobby myself but I've already learned not to top the great poster artists.
