Another thing is there have been plenty of inaccuracies in the story. The linked story lists numerous examples of proof undermining the accusers.

Texas athletic director DeLoss Dodds is stepping down at the end of the year. He's been the Texas AD since 1981. This is certainly not good news for Mack Brown (or basketball coach Rick Barnes) because whoever is brought in as the new AD will likely want to get rid of under performing coaches and there's little question that Texas' football and basketball programs aren't performing up to par.

Edit: Texas says the report of Dodds stepping down is "absolutely not true."

Brown is gone and Brnes should follow him. I still have a little hate in me for Barnes when he left Clemson and said he couldn't, was scared, with Duke and UNC. What a loser.

Clearly? I disagree. If it was so clear then they should have blown the play dead when he caught the "fair catch." Not one ref thought it was a fair catch when he caught it, but after he ran it back for a TD they decided it was unfair so they overturned it. Either it was a fair catch when he caught it or it wasn't. You can't decide that after the outcome of the play. I doubt they would have brought the ball back if he had gained 10 yards on the return instead of scoring a TD.

As all of you already know I'm a Louisville fan, well for the Alabama/Texas AM game I don't know who I want to win more.

No matter who wins though, Louisville should move up.

Don't count us out. Sure, this is the biggest deficit talent wise between UK and Louisville maybe ever but we still have a small shot (5% or 10%) at taking you out. I don't expect us to win but I'll be cheering loud and hoping to storm the field.

Of course they did, have to cover their butts. They didn't even address the 2 worst calls though. I'm sorry, but ask anyone who watched that entire game and the officiating crew was a mess.

They got the punt return call right though. They obviously should have whistled it dead right away, but in the end they made the right call. That's the important part. It's not a case of the Big XII supervisor covering for the refs, it's the fact that the call made on the field was correct.

Rivalry games in college football are something special. If Louisville is going to lose a game this season, this will be the one.

If they lose they have no chance at a NC game. Honestly, if they don't blow us out it hurts their chances. We are the only quality team they play this season and if they beat us by single digits, it don't look good for them.
