I have 10 story missions left to do in my Evil playthrough and then i'll have the platinum. It was alright to me that Hard mode awards you with less XP than Medium, but wow, some of these evil powers are so damn expensive! Good thing i have plenty of side missions left, but still, sooo close to just finishing it.

I was missing that one and finally found it earlier. There's also a trophy for going back to that area (since the storyline never requires you to go anywhere near it once you enter New Marais).

Just finished up my first playthrough on Evil karma on Medium. Nothing too earthshakingly difficult, though I still need the Hard playthrough trophy. The collection trophies in this game are much, much, much easier than in inFamous 1.

Finally tracked down all the blast shards tonight. The shard sense capability really helps. I have 2 dead drops left and from some of the comments, I'm pretty sure one of them is probably the swamp one since I haven't been back there.

Really loving the tether. It makes getting around a lot easier and quicker.

Tether is pretty useful...though I sometimes fall down after reaching the building I tethered too...

I use the ice jump or boost or whatever it's called a lot

Yes, the ice jump power is very nice and I find myself using it more than anything just to get around.

Hmm, I have the ice jump but haven't tried it yet. Guess I'll give that a shot.

Do you use the ice jump when doing the missions where you're chasing people?

Yeah, for me anyway, I think that it'll be easier to do the game on hard as evil. That way you can just let loose on the enemies without worrying about harming bystanders.

So when you get cornered and you're just spamming the rockets and grenades trying to get them off ya, you aren't thinking "this is REALLY going to turn the local paper against me"

That's how I did the first and plan on doing the second too. Hard = Evil.

That way I don't have to worry about collateral damage when things get hairy.

That's why they have a have power that so you don't really do any damage to Civilians. I did a Good playthrough on Hard with no problems.

The Karmic Boost Civilian Safety reduces the damage civilians receive from Cole's attacks. It's the first one you receive.

I got the platinum earlier today; I wish the game lasted longer! Cool though how after you beat it as good and evil
[Show spoiler]you can unlock all karma powers.

How hard is hard in this game.

I haven't really gotten a straight answer on this.

I found the first Infamous to not be very difficult on hard, except for the final boss which was an absolute PAIN IN THE ASS.

I'd personally say it's not too hard at all. You may get bombarded by rocket launchers and grenades a lot, but if you die (and then start again) you can learn how to avoid them, where the enemies are and some missions have great checkpoints. The last mission is actually different depending on whether you play as good or evil, but i didn't have a major problem playing either compared to the first game. I'd say all in all, inFAMOUS 2 IS easier to platinum than the first game.

Same here and wondering about that myself.
[Show spoiler]I really want there to be another one but with the way it ended, I guess they'd have to start over with a different lead character. Initially, I thought that last giant lighting bolt might have been a clue, thinking maybe it would revive him somehow but if so, who would he fight?

Anyway, really enjoyed the game and I'll probably dabble with the evil side but I'm not sure I'll complete it. I typically don't like playing as the bad guy.

Oh, I still have 1 dead drop to find to find also and I'm guessing that's going to be a pain to track down. Thanks to a tip I read here, I already found the one that most overlook so I guess I'll have to wander around for a while hoping to find the one I'm missing.

I'm sure they'll come up with a way lol, but i really hope they don't
[Show spoiler]bring Cole back to life
though since that'll ruin the whole story in my mind.

Good luck creating your level. I kept on trying but i just couldn't get the hang of it. I also wanted to use certain elements i saw in other people's levels but i couldn't find them in my create tools nor did i know if they could be unlocked. So what i sadly did was upload a template level, got the trophy and then promptly deleted it off the server. I know it's not legit, but the create mode is just not as user friendly as compared to LBP.

Doesn't sound like you're jonesing to go back to the mission editor, but maybe you needed to load the assets? When you view the create objects screen, you can go to the empty rows and press square load the other groups of objects.

Definitely not user friendly.
