I like the first image better... where did you get it from? Maybe someone could make a hi-def version from the blu-ray?

Finished my Star Trek steel. First time ever I've attempted the spine. Can't say I did a perfect job but I'm still to do The Hunger Games' so hopefully I'll get that one spot on! I think my chosen artwork, thanks to admiral_ackbar by the way, goes really well with the rest of the steel.

No problem mate... looks really good! I'm still yet to do any of the spines on mine, but I'm sure I'll have a go soon enough! Did you watch any tutorial videos?

I didn't watch any videos but I did use this guide. It's surprisingly simple. Just takes a bit of time and patience.

Glad to see that this post is still usefull to some of your guys ... nevertheless, it seems that it's easier & probably "less dangourous" to remove the spine using an hair dryer ... never used this technic myself, but it seems that most people customizing their inside artworks are using it .

Cheers,
Steph.

hi

after i picked up predators very cheap i was disappointed to see there was no inside artwork. After watching a tutorial this morning, i realised how easy it would be to do it myself. here it is:

Sorry about picture quality, my phone camera isnt that good

over the next week im going to try the same with my batman begins, dark knight & Devils double steelbooks

Which tutorial did you watch? What are the dimensions needed and where did you print the artwork?

Around the edges, I cant really tell in your picture. I know some members have artwork fully in their cases, no aluminum is showing.

The edges aren't separate.
Each "page" fills the space. Left side is one part. spine is separate and the right side is just the same size as the left.
The overall size of the artwork is 783px x 483px
the left and right sides are therefore roughly 377 x 483
Hope this helps

yh 5" x 7" is correct.

I was searching on google for a company to print the 7 x 5 pics of in high gloss finish and found a company called Snapfish.

i got 4 x 5 by 7 prints coming to me with a high gloss finish for just £2.25 delieved. Prints only cost 76p lol but postage was £1.49.

They were sent yesterday so hopefully i get them soon. I'll get some pics up when they come (and put inside my batman begins * dark knight)

Looks brilliant! These were standard 5x7 prints right? Glossy or Matt? Thanks.
