Just got my detolf glass display from IKEA today and put it together. I'm waiting on two other hot toy figures so I'll have a change around soon.

My Art Figures Dredd 3D figure came yesterday from seller AnimalMother over at Sideshowcollectors.com, I highly recommend him as a seller. I paid late Friday evening and he shipped Priority Mail the next day from Florida. Great guy too, easy to work with.

I don't know what I was worrying about before when it came to steel books. Zavvi always seemed expensive on pre releases but in hindsight and with a fresh new perspective I fee differently now! Lol.

If you order from the Sideshow website, do you pay EU import VAT with them or do you also have to pay when the package is delivered? Does anyone know?

Sideshow does not charge me any extra taxes or fees when ordering from Canada. I'm guessing that the same applies for all countries. With us, the courier collects whatever customs claims as import fees.

Alright, because I was just putting something in my basket to try something out and noticed;

For EU Customers:
To be collected by carrier
EU duty fee*
€10.09
EU import VAT* €45.07

did not see the ''to be collect'' to be honest, so I guess when you order you have to pay another 45,- euro when the courier is here to drop of the package.

its not worth buying from sideshow as the import tax is stupidly high. try buy hot toys local if you can.

I'll tell you what to expect. #1. A puddle of drool when you open it and see it with your own eyes. #2. Some minor skin abrasions on the underside of your chin from it hitting the floor so hard when you open it and see it with your own eyes.

Whatever your expectations are, the figure will exceed them, it's the best Predator figure sculpt HT has done to date. Watch ANY of the many videos reviews and they'll all say the same. The only thing this one lacks is a bio mask, but honestly, who would want to display a Pred with their mask on anyway?

exactly. will get city predator later on for the bio mask

ive never seen a hot toys in person so im super excited. it will be love at first site i reckon. im just worried cause when i like something i go nuts and buy 10 different version straight away. i do it with everything
