I also filed a PayPal claim. But PayPal misunderstood my claim, they thought I was talking about damaged products, instead of lost products.

Again; I did do that. But PayPal misunderstood my claim and I tried to re-open the case, but that is appearently not possible. PayPal told me to contact the seller, I did, and that was Zavvi's response.

I explained properly. I even repeated it a few times.

Stop defending Zavvi. They screwed up. It's their responsibility to send the ordered products on time. It's their responsibility to deliver the products I have paid for.

Let this be a warning to everyone who orders from Zavvi.

Everyone knows how shitty their customer service is, this only confirms that.

I'm not defending Zavvi, I'm defending PayPal's clear cut and simple resolution service...you didn't receive your product, you made a claim with paypal, somehow you muffed that up. Take responsibility for your part in this...

Nope, I didn't. I know what I did. And it was VERY clear. Don't act like you know it better than me.

So I contacted them again and this time they did respond. However, the second time I contacted them was outside their 40 day policy and they told me that they couldn't do anything.
[Show spoiler]

Meaning: I have lost my money and won't get my steelbooks from Zavvi.

I ordered the cheap Paramount steelbooks from Zavvi and a few other ones (Mission Impossible 1,2,3, Zulu, War of the Worlds, Cloverfield, Forrest Gump, Black Hawk Down, Demons 1 & 2, Zombieland, Bad Boys and Transformers).

I think you're a lying troll

If you file an incorrect claim, then how is it anyone's fault than your own? I admit that Zavvi's service is nowhere near the level of rivals such as Amazon, but they may well have sent the items and they've got lost in the mail. It's your responsibility as the buyer to prove this and you didn't provide correct details.

Look at the dates I mention in the ''warning'' post and the one with the 20 steelbooks. Don't think you are a detective or you 'busted' me. You are completely wrong.

I didn't file an incorrect claim. I filed the claim correctly, PayPal misunderstood it. I know what I did, and I am sure I filed the claim 100% correctly. Please don't act like you know it better than me and don't you even speak for me. I never said I filed the claim incorrect, so why are you stating I did?

The PayPal claim was still ongoing when I placed those orders, I figured PayPal would respond accordingly, but they misunderstood my claim.

I also have placed many pre-orders on Zavvi.com, which are released in July, August etc. and I won't cancel those orders either.

I have send Zavvi another message. They claimed that I didn't contact them in time (I did, and I have proof - namely the PayPal messages & claim. And I have send them those messages).

I will wait this out, I am curious how they'll respond.

To everyone who claimed I filed an incorrect claim:
Here's a screenshot of the claim and PayPal's respond.

Rough translation:

Reason(s) of the buyer:
- Missing quantity (products)

Status (PayPal's respond):
We can not decide this claim in your favor. PayPal's policy regarding complaints of buyers is about the delivery of the ordered products, not about claims regarding the quality of the products.

What now? (How to proceed)
You can try to find a proper solution with the seller.

----------

Meaning that they thought I started a claim about the quality of the products, while it is clearly stated that I started a claim about MISSING PRODUCTS, which relates to the delivery of the ordered products. I never stated something about the quality of the products.

Why haven't you canceled the pre-orders?

If you lost your money for 12 SBs from Zavvi, why would you give them another chance?

Wasn't your alert a few posts back a warning for others not to order from them?

Is it possible to get the delivery address changed on a current order? I'm helping a member out with a sold-out steelbook, and want to switch the address on the pre-order from mine, to theirs.

I am all over my orders when they are in transit. Even Amazon UK, if that thing is 5 business days late, I contact them.
I have yet to receive an order from Zavvi, but you better believe I will be doing the same thing. I'm already very skeptical of them, just because they are trying to drum up so much steelbook business in such a short amount of time, it just sets off a warning bell with me. Perhaps I'm just being overly conscience about it, and will gladly eat a big plate of crow when ALL my orders arrive...but until then, I will remain a little nervous about Zavvi and their business practices.
I'm always leery when someone "promises the world", in this case a boatload of great steelbooks. Heck Best Buy is way bigger than Zavvi, and they roll out, maybe, 10 steelbooks a year. Zavvi did that in one week!
Like I said, hopefully I'm looking too much into it, but I guess we'll see as time marches on, and they have to deliver on all these steelbooks.
Also you could mention the Indy steels that, basically, put Zavvi on the worldwide map...what happened to those? Hmmmm...

From the evidence you presented here (entirely based on this, I cannot read your mind only the posts you have made here), you filed the claim incorrectly. Claiming for 'missing quantity' suggests that you chose 'I received my item, but it is significantly not as described.' as it is an option listed under that category.
