For 'The Bouncer', aka 'Lukas': The Canadian disc is in fact the shorter cut, running 1:27:12. The back cover states 94 mins, but is incorrect. For those in Canada, it sells for $14.96CAD & comes with a slipcover.

My instinct is always to wait for discounts! It's good though, so I guess it depends on how much you like JCVD. It isn't typical DTV action, more of a crime drama with him in it. Hope that helps

'The Bouncer' disc defaults to the English dubbed audio track, but also features a French audio track (both Dolby 5.1 Dobly TrueHD). There are also English & French subtitles. Again, note that this is the 87 minute cut of the film (cover art is incorrect).

Well, got the german disc, really misses english subs, and the UK incoming
Just annoyed that there is no 'perfect' release (extented cut+english subs).

Yeah, it’s his best movie in a decade and every release pretty much sucks, except the Canadian. That seems like you get the original audio track with English subs.

I'm thinking of ordering the Canadian release, too. Just to have both versions in my collection. Although I definitely came to prefer the extended version.

At least they have their own unique attributes (French audio and making of feature on the Aussie blu, full English audio and the trailer on the UK blu).

Just need the German blu now to complete the set.

Sudden Death got re-released by Final Cut Entertainment in the UK last month. The artwork says theatrical version and the running time on Amazon is 1hr 45mins compared to the 1hr 50mins listed for the 2013 Universal release. So is this a different cut of the movie?

Thanks! Seems weird for Final Cut to be advertising it like that if it's the same version as the Universal.

1. Is the collection from Mill Creek Entertainment any good?
2. Does the Final Cut release of Sudden Death use the VC-1 codec, which is what the database says, and is it region free?
