They at least give a general idea of when to expect an item to ship. On my order status page, it states:

Economy Shipping
Earliest delivery is Sep 12, 2023 2-8 business days after order ships
.

...which is based on each item in my cart at the time indicating:
Usually ships in 1-3 business days

My current cart, in addition to all that, also notes the remaining units left in stock (!)

And while that is still shy of specifics -- which I would naturally prefer, it's better than the more prominent Vinegar Syndrome, with my order page stating:

Placed on: September 02, 2023
Payment Status: Paid
Fulfillment Status: Unfulfilled

Oldies.com might become my next favorite site after HamiltonBooks for cheap horror and weird kitsch DVD releases.

I wish Hamilton Book shipped to Canada. I always see titles that I'd like to own.

What exactly does an elaborate spreadsheet look like? Is this the spreadsheet SpaceX and NASA use for rocket launches?

Ok, so I am an avid Excel user. Firstly, I use Movie Collector + CLZ Movies to track my collection.
I: I regularly extract the database to Excel which I use to plan my next purchases.

II: The next worksheet is linked to the extract and serves multiple purposes:
a) Record Prices I've noted as posted by various sellers, including formulae to identify the lowest price of a given title.
b) A 25-30 Shortlist of items that I would prioritize, should I see a decent price.
c) The details each of my pending orders.
d) A countdown clock, showing the time remaining until a special event (the next for me will be the Kino Lorber sale tentatively scheduled to begin Sept 21, and soon after the Vinegar Syndrome Flash Pre-order event.)
e) The next large section are items are divided into specific retailers and the titles that appeal to me from each. I quickly use those to organize and then place my orders.
f) A small section to note upcoming releases, for which a pre-sale link is not yet available.
g) A section of my existing DVD titles, which I would like to upgrade to an HD format.
h) Other: I am a huge fan of Strongbad / Homestar Runner cartoons of the Chapman Brothers. I keep an eye on their Yahoo store, their Teespring store and Fangamer which all sell merchandise.
i) The bottom of the page contains useful reference information. Links to all the sites I have visited. Occasionally, I receive a movie with a broken case, so I keep a list of those and I plan orders for replacement cases.
III: Another worksheet to plan the purchase of Disney/Fox while the DMC was operating in Canada but it is closing and final orders may be this month.
In closing, I think it's safe to say that I'm a reasonable candidate to be Institutionalized. All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi. And they wouldn't give it to me.

I would expect Kino sale to start soon but then again still waiting on an order from the last sale.

The KL Insider said they hope to start the next sale September 21st.

They had a 20 year live celebration in 2016. (I wish I could have been there.) That means the 30 year anniversary is coming in just 3 years.

They don’t really release much these days. Maybe one cartoon per year. StrongBadActual replies to people on Twitter. Years ago, they released and I bought Trogdor: The Boardgame. Sometimes I watch the old stuff (sbemails or whatever) on YouTube.

All 3 of my orders have been received long ago (in Canada.) You must have selected one or more back-ordered titles

It was pretty recent, iirc their schedule was pushed back by a warehouse change or something like that.

Follow-up to this post:

My oldies.com order arrived today. It was 9 pieces (6 BDs + 2 DVDs + 1 CD/BD], which was packed in a FedEx Reusable Padded (bubble) pak, which was very sturdy and packed well. No issues, no floaters or damage of any kind to any item. Further, the three MVD Rewind blu-rays all arrived in slipcovers (!) -- not bad for a mere $5 bucks each!

As for VS, I received my shipment notice from them the same day as the Oldies haul, but it's not here yet. I had a problem with each order from the two businesses:

With the Oldies order, I mistakenly ordered the "Countess Dracula" BD+DVD -- which I'd picked up $10 cheaper in my previous order from them. The next day I called them, and they said they couldn't change the order, but to just return it when it arrives, and they will refund the $24.10 back to my original payment source.

With my VS order, somehow my selection of "Disco Godfather" ended up as 2 units. With the order status in Unfulfilled status, I logged into their site, did the Captcha thing (sigh), made my way to the Report Issues area -- where I was prompted to Sign in to manage your orders, so as to receive a code either in email or by phone...all just to let them know I have an issue. So with all of that, I figured such a robust gauntlet might mean this will be taken seriously. Wrong! So I get my six-digit verification code which will allow me to contact them, selected a choice from their menu of possible issues. No way to describe any specifics, just some message about how seriously they take such things, and that they will be contacting me very soon. And they did. The next day, I received instead a SHIPPING notice. Charming. No way to correct my problem before it ships. I sent them a polite but stern message explaining my disappointment with their support, but again, crickets.

Have a nice day!

https://roninflix.com/collections/jet-li

Ronin is doing a blowout sale of their Jet Li titles. Got both two-packs for a nice 35.

Looks like everything is already close to 50 units or less.
