Thanks, man! Yeah, I prefer them horizontal, too, but I try to keep those little details accurate to the studio.

I agree. I used the same poster for my Casino Royale custom though I resized and moved the voice bubble.

I have two covers on Customaniacs.

One which lists the 1954 TV movie as a special feature (for packaging with the 2002 DVD which had that as a special feature) and an alternate which omits that feature for people who do not have the 2002 DVD.

I suppose I can accept requests. The main reason I did Coma was because the original poster supplied the artwork and I knew it wouldn't take that long.

I also considered Beverly Hills Cop but chose not to do it. No particular reason - there are just other titles I wanted to do first. I'm sure I'll get to it in the future.

I hope no one thinks I'm being lazy for only using one image on the back.

Some films I've seen more than others and I've actually never seen this film so I wouldn't know what to do with multiple images. (After all, what good is a dozen photos if I have no idea who the people are or their relationships?)

I figured I might as well do this since I did Coma, which was released in the same batch as this film.

UPDATE: I added the THX in hopes that maybe. Im sure we will just get Dolby TrueHD though. Easy fix down the road.

Many thanks to Heiko for sending me a picture of all my 007 custom covers sitting together on his shelf. I still have to put them all in individual cases. Though they curiously seem to be without their spine images:

All are available for download at Customaniacs.

I think I'm gonna take a brief break after this one. I've done a dozen in three weeks! (Not counting a couple that I scrapped at the last minute.)

I originally wanted to incorporate the old Vignelli subway map from the 70s but with all the text and colors and lines, it just got too complicated.

If anyone is interested in tinkering around with some custom Jaws covers, this article on Blu-Ray.com last evening provided a plethora of inspiration and original images.

I'm going to make a Jaws Criterion. Any suggestions on a cover image? I was kind of thinking the one that was out on this thread about a month ago. Just the normal poster with the sea line and the shark below. Went From the back cover to the spine to the front cover. Very simple

Went a different route in creating a streamlined collection with similar spines and using minimalist artwork for the covers. What do you think?

Completed, available at Euphoricfx.org.
Love them! If I were a graphic arts teacher and you were my student, you would get a 1000% (and no, that's not a typo). I'm glad I waited to make my own. You've saved me hours (maybe even days) of work.

I've decided to take a stab at some covers for the Lord Of The Rings extended versions. I wanted to keep the look of the DVD versions, but not have a plain back cover. I'm making them to fit the cases that the set came with (about the same thickness of a DVD case). The background actually wasn't nearly as difficult to create as I thought it would be. Just had to play around blending 3 or 4 different textures together. I've been learning how to create smoke in Photoshop Elements by using the wave filter, so I did that to give it just a little more texture.
