Even the creator of Jar Jar Binks chose to heavily lessen his screen presence in AOTC and especially so in ROTS, after listening to criticisms. I very much doubt that Disney or Abrams would feel like re-inserting such an unpopular or infamous character. According to his wikipedia entry, Binks is "often acknowledged as one of the worst and most hated characters of the Star Wars franchise and the entire film industry at large."

Well even with discounting the characters facts of species, he is still "overtly bad", deceased, and was force sensitiv. Not to mention I just read through the source 4chan talk and the poster specifically said it was not Plagueis at one point in the convo. (He also said that story was eu only which is wrong)

If anything, Serkis will be Plagueis.

He still plays a prominent role in Clones and in a lot of ways starts the ball rolling in being manipulated by Palpatine into letting him take over as Chancellor. The simple fact is that a lot of his story requirement were finished by the end of Menace. He had brought the Gungans and Naboo together and was a hero of the battle.

Agreed, BF makes the most sense. I just hope they don't pull some crap and say "oh its this guy, over there in the corner...that guard that had .74 seconds of screen time. Sydow is him."

I think the bigger question is, if Han and Leia are a couple, why is she with anyone except them?

I have a strange suspicion that the OT cast will only have a small amount of on screen time. I can see Leia and Han only being on screen for a few seconds.

They probably couldn't afford to raise her...Force sensitive woman can't give milk to their offspring (that's why jedi's are not allowed to have relationship or love.)
I read somewhere that Tatooine has the best breast/cow's milk in the galaxy and that's probably why they brought her there.
I also don't think that Han and Leia are a couple...remember the EU has been tossed.

No...Fett was introduced as a tan skinned pacific islander type person in episode 2....Sydow is white not tan...

Boba just makes sense, especially with the boba standalone film in 2016.

I am pretty sure Bail Organa blew up with Alderaan.

Money may be scarce...who knows?
Possibly it didn't work out between them, and they would rather have their child raised by someone more down to earth?
Besides isn't Driver's character supposed to be their son also?
