I am sure you realize that is NOT the Forced Entry we are talking about, rather it is Shaun Costello's XXX version. Pretty sure I recall you involved in the conversations about the different versions last year.

What do you mean Idle threat? To who and why? I dont really follow the code red/ darkforce shenanigans so idk what's going on.

I don't recall the specifics, but Bill said he was going to release it as a response to some interaction between himself and John Lyons of Vinegar Syndrome.

doesn't Waterpower use quite a bit of music from a De Palma film (believe it's Sisters, but I could be wrong)? it may also be from Taxi Driver- it was a 70's Bernard Herrmann score.

i've read that Costello used to be quite a fan of taking music from other movies and using it in his flicks, could be that someone has attempted to release this film before but were met with backlash in an attempt to clear music rights? i don't know quite how that would work, since i know it was once popular to take music from other films-

other wild guesses would be that maybe one of the girls was underage and there are known issues there, or maybe there's some weird mob-related trouble with this film- throwing out some guesses. while i'd be excited to even see a version of this film in HD, i see this in the realm of 70's/80's films that are trapped in bootleg hell forever.

The French CRI was edited to conform to the French dub. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that the film itself wasn’t cut and the edits were made in the digital realm, meaning that if BM is able to get access to this CRI, it might be the best available element. I also know of at least one supposed print of the film plus a potential second CRI.

I was under the impression that Costello's preferred cut never saw any kind of release, and was actually somewhat shorter than the various different cuts available. The person to ask about Waterpower would be John Lyons, I recall that he spent some time working with Costello trying to track down usable elements. Though I suspect music right issues would prevent it ever getting a proper release, at least in the US.

I figured it's something bad or private which is why he didn't say it online or the stream.
