I kept seeing this on the front page of Bluray.com but for some reason I thought it was the bluray box set that's coming out later this year. I really did enjoy that Never Sleep Again documentary, so this was an instant order. Over seven hours of material does quench my thirst. I own that DVD box set that was put out about a year or two ago of the original films. I suppose I'll have to watch those in the meantime, I've only seen a scattered amount.

something i will be curious about....

i never got or read the CLM book. so with 7hrs plus the extra 4 on the bonus disc...i wonder if this will make reading it sorta moot as it will pretty much cover eveything discussed there. or will it still be worth getting?

i'm not a huge Friday fan so that and the price is why i never got it...but its hovering at the 35 dollar mark lately vs. the 50+ it used to be and thats pretty reasonable considering its size and all.

Without seeing the doc yet, I can tell you that the book is really phenomenal. It really was a labor of love for the author and it shows in every single page. Hands down, one of the most comprehensive books written on a film franchise. Since the book came many years before this doc, the author managed to speak to many cast and crew members who are no longer with us so that's definitely another added perk to owning it.

What happened to the people who ordered this from Barnes and Noble when it said "in stock" a week or two ago?

Not to mention, obviously, the interviews conducted for the book are not the same as the interviews conducted for the doc, even if they talked to the same people.

Did you call the phone number on the paypal receipt from the CLM website?

I called that number because I was charged $10 for international shipping in error and they told me that they were not the company (1428 FILMS) themselves, just the distributors of the discs and were not sure why their phone number was used on the receipt.

They suggested that I try e-mailing 1428 FILMS at the e-mail on the receipt. I told them I have tried e-mailing orders@elmstreetlegacy but I got an e-mail back the next day saying there was a delay in getting messages delivered. I also tried orders@crystallakememories and that e-mail came back because their e-mail is full. It's ridiculous.

The guy at the distribution company said he would forward my message to the appropriate party. Hopefully, I'll hear back from someone but they should really have a place where people can contact them directly for screwed up orders. Not pleased.

Yeah that's the # I called. The operator just transferred me to someone where I left a message. No call back yet.

Ended up pulling the trigger from CLM hoping to get the bonus disc. Fingers crossed.

Hopefully this will satiate my F13 compulsion until the box set drops in price or my favorites are released individually.

Why is this company IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of? I was charged $10 (exactly) over the cost at check out and when I call the number some guy claims to be a distributor and that he isn't 1428 Films and has "no idea" why that number is on my Paypal receipt.

So ....... I'm charged $10 over the price quoted (and still on my saved and printed receipt). I can't find any way to get a hold of the company (their email is somehow "full" -- is it even a legit address?). And I haven't even received a message saying the discs have shipped when Friday the 13th is only 3 days away.

I knew I should have gone through Amazon. Paying $5 more for an extra 4 hours of SD interviews was pushing it. Now it's up to $15 and so far I cannot find a way to even get the extra $10 charge addressed. And I no longer trust this company to even include the extra interview disc they've promised.

How long did they list this as a single blu-ray before changing it to a double? And why do we keep being told "approximately" and "around" regarding run times? I'm ranting a little, but I just saw I was charged $10 extra and cannot even contact the company to ask why.

If anyone knows how to contact these guys, I'd appreciate it if you let me know. Thanks!

We are in the same boat! You were probably charged for international shipping in error like I was.

I'm in the U.S.

Does this mean that they are also going to ship to the wrong address/country?

Were you able to get a hold of them? I'm starting to wonder if a bunch of camp counselors are running this outfit. The counselors weren't paying any attention ... They were charging international shipping rates while not checking their emails. And their distributor ... he wasn't a very good shipper.

I'm in the US too. Is the address correct on your paypal receipt?

Here has been my experience thus far:
